We all know no theme park day is complete without watching the fireworks. Universal Orlando just announced a brand-new show starting next month, and y’all, this might be the ultimate fireworks show.
Heads up if you’re heading to Magic Kingdom soon to see Disney’s newest nighttime parade, Disney Starlight, there’s some important news you need to know!
Disney Starlight
Currently, Disney Starlight plays each night at 9 PM and 11 PM, but soon, that’s going to change! You’ll need to plan accordingly, because these show times are moving UP.
Leaving Magic Kingdom has never been an easy task. From exiting a busy Main Street, U.S.A., to deciding between the monorail or the ferryboat, and dealing with all the crowds, leaving the Most Magical Place on Earth can feel a little less magical.
Disney Starlight
With Disney World’s newest nighttime parade, Disney Starlight: Dream the Night Away, leaving just got a whole lot more complicated. Here’s what you need to know before you’re heading out of the park.
I recently had the chance to watch the new Magic Kingdom nighttime parade, Disney Starlight, and as soon as I heard the beginning of the music, the waterworks started.
The Blue Fairy
Nighttime spectaculars are my thing, so when I heard I would get to see my favorite characters light up the night sky, I was ready to whip out my bubble wand and start celebrating. Since it’s in Magic Kingdom, you can also catch another top nighttime show — Happily Ever After! Want to try to catch both? Well, you may need a new strategy.

Lots of people flock to Magic Kingdom and EPCOT for this holiday thanks to their special holiday offerings, one of the most popular being the fireworks in both parks. Disney’s Hollywood Studios and Disney’s Animal Kingdom often celebrate the holiday with special snacks or other offerings, but if you want a show at the end of your day filled with red, white, and blue, Magic Kingdom or EPCOT are the best parks to head to. We just got news about the Disney California Adventure Food & Wine Festival and are looking forward to taking in all the sights and sounds at the 2024 Lunar New Year Festival in California Adventure as well. Speaking of which, Disney just announced that a nighttime show is returning for the festival in 2024!
