EPCOT isn’t the only Disney park that’s home to festivals!

We just got news about the Disney California Adventure Food & Wine Festival and are looking forward to taking in all the sights and sounds at the 2024 Lunar New Year Festival in California Adventure as well. Speaking of which, Disney just announced that a nighttime show is returning for the festival in 2024!

A Disney nighttime spectacular is returning in 2024! “Hurry Home — A Lunar New Year Celebration” is coming back to Disney California Adventure on January 23rd as part of the Lunar New Year Festival!

“Hurry Home – A Lunar New Year Celebration” returns, presented before “World of Color – ONE” in Disney California Adventure Park in Anaheim, Calif., as part of Lunar New Year from Jan. 23-Feb. 18, 2024. This heartwarming nighttime water show tells the tale of a little lantern’s quest to reunite with family for the annual celebration of good luck and fortune. The show will be presented before “World of Color — ONE”, which returns from a brief refurbishment on January 19th. “Hurry Home — A Lunar New Year Celebration” will run through February 18th, 2024, the length of the Lunar New Year Festival.

In years past, we’ve loved catching this brief show before the longer fireworks spectacular. It follows a little lantern’s quest to reunite with family for Lunar New Year, an annual celebration of good luck and fortune. Disney’s Lunar New Year Festival features tributes to Chinese, Korean, and Vietnamese cultures and we enjoy it every year!
