Lately, we’ve been talking about the possibility of expansion to Epic Universe. Now, this isn’t an expansion to the beloved park, but something NEW has arrived!
Epic Universe
We love a good day at Epic Universe. We’re talking racing in Mario Kart, getting a look at dragons, becoming a monster, and more. It’s just not the experiences that make this park special, but the food as well. That delicious selection of eats has more options because a brand-new snack spot just opened!
When it comes to dining at Epic Universe, you’ve got a TON of options. Want something quick and easy? You’ve got it. Something middle of the road and comforting with Mario? Yep, that too. And if you’re looking for something upscale and luxurious, you can find that as well.

Celestial Park
We’re dining at each and every new food spot, snack stand, and restaurant in this new park to help you decide where you should go during your upcoming vacation. There are a LOT of restaurants in Celestial Park alone, so which ones are worth your time? Are any of them good breakfast spots? We’re trying out Oak & Star Tavern‘s breakfast today to let you know our full thoughts!

Celestial Park
Celestial Park is home to more than just beautiful gardens and fountains — there are some incredible eats here that you can’t miss. Tucked away near Stardust Racers, you’ll find Star Sui Bao, a food cart specializing in Asian-inspired dishes. We didn’t know what to expect from this unique snack, but consider us MAJORLY impressed!
Epic Universe is full of new dining experiences and opportunities, but you’re not just limited to dining inside the park!
Universal Helios Grand Hotel
Helios Grand Hotel is located right next to the park, and you can easily pop in during your park day for a nice meal or a drink. The rooftop bar, Bar Helios, is especially sought after due to its incredible theme park views, but it’s pretty pricey to dine here. Are the eats and drinks worth the dent to your wallet? We found out!

The Portal to Dark Universe
Dark Universe is one of the lands you may not expect to find some pretty fantastic food offerings, and while we haven’t been impressed by everything we’ve had here, we just tried something from The Burning Blade Tavern that we’ll be thinking about for WEEKS to come!

Dark Universe
In Dark Universe, near the Burning Blade Tavern, you’ll find DeLacey’s Cottage. This is a quick service spot with a limited menu, and we figured it was finally time to try one of the more savory items we’ve had our eyes on. However, this snack might be a little different from what we were expecting.
So far, we’ve eaten a LOT of treats in Universal Orlando’s new park, Epic Universe.
Epic Universe
Five different lands with new restaurants and snack stands…dozens of menu items in total? There’s a whole new UNIVERSE of eats out there! (Pun totally intended.) But with all the treats we’ve tried, there’s one item that has stood out among the rest.
Epic Universe is an all-new park with multiple new dining options, and since food is our specialty, we’re making it our mission to try EVERY single restaurant in this new park so you know where you should visit during your vacation.
Epic Universe
While there are great spots in the different portals around the park, don’t count out Celestial Park, the main hub “land” because there are some fantastic options here as well! Frosty Moon is an ice cream spot located here, but is it really worth the stop, or should you find your sweet treat elsewhere? We found out!
Tucked away in Dark Universe is a small, easy-to-miss little shack known as De Lacey’s Cottage. If you’re looking for fine dining in Darkmoor Village, keep moving (it is a rather dilapidated-looking shack, after all), but for all you snackers who love a “hidden gem,” we might have stumbled on a new winner in Epic Universe.

We’ve been snacking our way through all kinds of universes at Epic Universe, but now, our journey has taken us to the place “where the original Frankenstein’s Monster once received sustenance and friendship.” Aww — how cute! These days, the story goes that snacks and “cool treats” are offered at De Lacey’s Cottage, including things like cinnamon bites, pretzels, and more. So — is the original Frankenstein’s Monster’s old hangout still worth visiting? Let’s find out!
