Sometimes when you’re hungry and walking around Magic Kingdom you’ve just got to stop for the right snack that speaks to you.

So, although we’ve talked a lot recently about the menu changes at Sleepy Hollow — to our beloved Fresh Fruit Waffle Sandwich and how we tried to doctor the new Mickey Waffle version, some of the other menu items here needed a little love,too. And by love, we mean munchin’ on as a snacky snack!

While we might not always agree with the choices to switch around the menus at some of our favorite restaurants, it’s always a welcomed sight when you spot a familiar option. When we were recently out in Magic Kingdom for the day, we decided to stop by Sleepy Hollow Refreshments for a different kind of snack.

This time we found ourselves craving something more savory than sweet and that’s when we decided to order the Hand-Dipped Corn Dog served with house-made chips for $11.49.

This corn dog tasted better to us than ones you could pick up at your local fair — seriously! The hot dog meat inside had a juicy flavor to it despite being hand-dipped and fried at the restaurant. Sleepy Hollow has mastered the art of making the outer breading soft while still getting that golden crisp outside corn-flavored breading.

From our experience, we could have been perfectly fine eating this corn dog by itself without extra condiments to help liven up its flavors but when you pair them together with the already tasty corn dog, your taste buds will be singing!

Overall, we were really pleased with our choice (so much so we completely forgot that the house made chips were supposed to come with them — whoops). But, we’d totally recommend you stopping by for one of these delicious corn dogs too because we certainly will be! It is a great snack to sit and snack on for a bit or take with you as you continue your day around the park.
