We hope you’re hungry because we are eating our way around the EPCOT Festival of the Arts!
We’re live at the 2025 EPCOT Festival of the Arts, checking out the food studios, artistic performances, merchandise, and more. There’s a LOT going on, but don’t let it overwhelm you. We’re here to tell you everything you need to know before your visit. Let’s go to Tangierine Cafe: Flavors of the Medina in Morocco to try some returning and NEW snacks!
Menu
Over at the Tangierine Cafe: Flavors of the Medina, you’ll find fresh, vibrant flavors from the Mediterranean and North Africa.
This year, the Grilled Kebabs are back, along with the Stone-baked Moroccan Bread. But a NEW Avocado-Coconut Custard Tart is available this time around! Now that we’ve taken a look at the menu, let’s dive into the food itself!
Eats
First up, we grabbed the Stone-baked Moroccan Bread with assorted dips for $5.25. In the past, we found this bread so light and fluffy that it didn’t even NEED dips. Last year, it was served with hummus, chermoula, and zhoug dips. The hummus was just regular hummus, though, and we got a lot of garlic from the Zhoug dip (but we liked it). The chermoula tasted strongly of olives, so it could be controversial. So, how’s everything this year?
The red dip tasted like something made with oil and red peppers. It was salty and tangy with vinegar and had just a HINT of heat. The green dip reminded us of chimichurri. We could taste mint and either cilantro or parsley and again, a subtle touch of heat. These first two dips wowed us, but the third was just regular hummus. It was a nice complement to the bread and other dips, though.
Finally, we had to end our meal here with a little something sweet. The Avocado-Coconut Custard Tart for $5.25 is new this year and is part of the Wonderful Walk of Colorful Cuisine. This is another plant-based item and is made with pomegranate cream and henna-inspired gelée Veil. We liked the flavor of this, and there was an aftertaste of something that reminded us of a stone-ground whole wheat crust. At first, this gave us a health food vibe, but we really appreciated the level of flavor it added. Warning: this might not appeal to everyone.
The cream and custard in the center are just perfect. We would’ve eaten this just as a parfait without the crust, but the tart does add some fun. The pomegranate seeds and gel on the side add a nice pop, but we didn’t taste the pomegranate cream that the description listed.
However, this treat is innovative and unique and a worthy plant-based addition to the festival lineup.
Drinks
In terms of drinks at this booth, the Chai Tea-Mint Fizz is available for $4.75. This is a returning drink, and we had mixed feelings about this previously. If you’re a non-drinker, this could be fun because it feels mimosa adjacent. You can also get the alcoholic version of this beverage with the addition of sparkling wine for $12.
Last year, we also tried the Rekorderlig Strawberry-Lime Hard Cider. On paper, this sounds AMAZING. And in reality? We thought it was really sweet with lots of strawberries, but it reminded us of a soda you might get at Club Cool. You can get this again this year for $5.75 for 6 ounces or $9.75 for 12 ounces.
The Keel Farms Blueberry Lavender Hard Cider is another returning beverage with an interesting blend of flavors. It has a floral essence that could be off-putting if that’s not your jam, but the blueberry does pull through as well. You can get this again this year for $5.75 for 6 ounces or $9.75 for 12 ounces.
If none of those strike your fancy, there is a new option available this year. The Parish Brewing Co. Mango Mochi, which you can pick up for $5.75 for 6 ounces or $9.75 for 12 ounces.
OVERALL
If you prefer plant-based foods, this is the booth for you, but even if you don’t, the offerings here are tasty enough to convince you to try them. We’ve loved the bread and dips every year, and the tart is a worthy addition to the menu here — we hope to see it again at future festivals.
That’s it for this booth, but there’s a LOT more where that came from!

I’ll never not miss the original Tangierine Cafe. It was my favorite Epcot counter service spot! The shawarma platter was my jam.
