February 1st marks the beginning of Black History Month, and Disney World will be celebrating with its annual Celebrate Soulfully festivities.
Celebrate Soulfully parade in 2024
Throughout the month of February, Disney World releases new food to celebrate, but there’s also special entertainment, all kinds of art at Disney Springs Art Walk, special performances during the EPCOT Festival of the Arts, and more. However, Celebrate Soulfully in Disney World also brings an EXCLUSIVE one-day-only event: a parade in Magic Kingdom led by a celebrity. This year, that special parade will be led by Emmy-winning journalist and talk show host Tamron Hall and will happen on February 1st.
Disney World is kicking off Black History Month on February 1st with Hall as the Grand Marshal. You’ll be able to see her along the parade route that runs through the park and down Main Street, U.S.A., around 3 PM. The parade will also feature some of your favorite Disney characters, music, and “dazzling displays.” As we previously mentioned, this will be your only chance this year to catch this special event.

In addition to the parade, you’ll also be able to check out special food throughout Disney World during the month of February, as well as see artwork at Disney Springs Art Walk: A Canvas of Expression, which includes artwork from artists like Ernest Shaw, Nneka Jones, Nardstar and Marci Swett, and more. Several black artists are also participating in the EPCOT Festival of the Arts, including Yesenia Moises, Ryan Riller, Larissa Brown, and Mark Page.
