Okay, so there is something going on in every single park in Disney World. Animal Kingdom is getting a new land. Hollywood Studios is getting a new land. Magic Kingdom is getting an expansion to Frontierland AND a new land. WHEW!
Over in EPCOT, it’s a little quieter, but Test Track has been getting a revamp, and it will be opening again SOON. Ahead of that opening, we have details about the ride’s Lightning Lane!
Test Track will be reopening with its brand new look on July 22nd, 2025. If you want to ride it, there will be both a standby line, and Disney has announced that Test Track will be added to Lightning Lane Multi Pass as a Tier 1 attraction.
As Test Track is added to the Tier 1 lineup for Lightning Lane Multi Pass on July 22nd, Soarin’ will move to being a Tier 2 attraction. After July 22nd, the Lightning Lane Multi Pass tiers for EPCOT will be:
Guests may choose ONE attraction from the following Tier 1 list:
- Test Track
- Frozen Ever After
- Remy’s Ratatouille Adventure
Guests may choose TWO attractions (or all 3) from the following Tier 2 list:
- Soarin’ Around the World
- Disney & Pixar Short Film Festival
- Journey Into Imagination with Figment
- Living With the Land
- Mission: SPACE
- The Seas with Nemo and Friends
- Spaceship Earth
- Turtle Talk with Crush
There was a virtual queue in place for Annual Passholder previews, but Disney previously shared that there will be no Virtual Queue for the ride when it officially reopens, and it will operate via a standby line or Lightning Lane. It will not be available via Lightning Lane Single Pass.
Lightning Lane Multi Pass is bookable for Test Track as of June 30th, 2025, for those heading to Disney World next month with longer resort stays.
