A Disney World hotel pool will be closing down for refurbishment soon!
Disney’s All-Star Movies Resort
The Fantasia kiddie pool at Disney’s All-Star Movies Resort will be closing for maintenance beginning September 8th. The pool is expected to be closed through late October, but Disney hasn’t announced a specific reopening date yet.
While the Fantasia kiddie pool is closed, the Fantasia Feature Pool and Duck Pond Pool will remain open, and guests staying at Disney’s All-Star Movies Resort are welcome to use the kiddie pools at Disney’s All-Star Music and Disney’s All-Star Sports.

As well, while the Fantasia kiddie pool is closed for maintenance, you may see or hear maintenance activity. However, Disney does a great job of trying to keep disturbances to a minimum, so construction noise is almost always limited to the daytime at hotels.

It is definitely a good idea to keep this closure in mind if you are heading to Disney’s All-Star Movies Resort soon with kiddos! There are other options for kiddie pools during the closure, but they will likely be a bit farther away than the Fantasia kiddie pool if you are staying at Disney’s All-Star Movies Resort.
