The holiday season has arrived at Disney World, and that means plenty of festive eats and drinks! You can find seasonal treats at all the Disney World parks AND Disney Springs. No matter where you go, if you are looking for holiday treats, you will be in luck. Of course, we are making our way through as many as possible so we can let you know which ones are worth your money.
At Disney Springs, you will find so many holiday treats! These are perfect for grabbing while you are doing the Christmas Tree Stroll, or in between shopping stops. You can visit the holiday-themed Jock Lindsey’s Hangar Bar, grab adorable holiday treats at Amorette’s Patisserie, stop by Swirls on the Water for seasonal treats, and so much more. We recently spotted a limited-time treat at Goofy’s Candy Company and knew we needed to give it a try!
Over at Goofy’s Candy Company, you can find a limited-time offering, Frozen Cocoa! You can grab this seasonal treat for $8.99. It is made with Joffrey’s frozen cocoa, topped with whipped cream, mini marshmallows, a mini candy cane, and a Mickey marshmallow with chocolate and crushed peppermint. We thought the toppings looked great — although the candy cane kept slipping into the drink, trying to avoid being captured. We promise the mini candy cane is in there, though!
This is a great sweet drink option! No surprise here, but it really does taste like frozen hot cocoa. It is like a slightly icier chocolate milkshake, but with more of that malty, creamy flavor you taste in hot cocoa. We mostly drank this through a straw, but we also recommend a spoon for getting the mini marshmallows! The large Mickey marshmallow you can just pick up with your hand to eat. We thought this was such a fun addition to the top, and it was very tasty. The Mickey marshmallow was fluffy and tender, and had a coating of chocolate and crushed peppermint.
Overall, it is a great option for warmer winter days at Disney World, or for anyone who drinks iced beverages, no matter the weather. It is very sweet and could easily be shared. It lives up to its frozen cocoa name and is a wonderful holiday treat. We have also spotted Frozen Cocoa at other locations across Disney World, including Restaurantosaurus in Disney’s Animal Kingdom and at Pecos Bill Tall Tale Inn & Cafe during Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party in Magic Kingdom. Each one has had slightly different toppings, but they have all featured that deliciously refreshing, icy, chocolately base. We are definitely loving this treat during the warmer parts of the day!
