We’ve got bad news if you’re at Disney World today — the Mobile Order feature on the My Disney Experience app, which allows you to order food from your phone and go pick it up, is currently down.
Mobile Order can save a lot of time both in the parks, at Disney Springs, and around the Disney World hotels, giving you the option of ordering and picking up your food when it’s ready, bypassing any lines to order in person. Here’s what we know about the outage.
As of 11 AM ET on November 18th, the Mobile Order feature is currently down on the My Disney Experience app for Disney World. This means that if you’re looking to order food from a quick-service location, you’ll have to do so in person.
A widespread CloudFlare outage could be the culprit, though Disney has not confirmed or made any sort of comments about the outage, short of alerting My Disney Experience users to it when they open the app. We saw the following message when we opened our app this morning that said “Mobile Ordering Is Temporarily Unavailable. Mobile ordering is unavailable at this time. Please check back later. We apologize for any inconvenience.”
And, sure enough, when we clicked on the “Order Food” section of the app, we were greeted with another notification that Mobile Ordering was currently unavailable.
Hopefully, this outage won’t last for long, as some users have reported that the CloudFlare outages have cleared up by now. Mobile Order is still unavailable, though, so we will have to wait and see. Keep checking your My Disney Experience app for the latest information.
We’ll be on the lookout for additional updates about Mobile Order at Disney World, so you know when it’s back up and running. In the meantime, stay tuned to the Disney Food Blog for the latest Disney news and more!
