runDisney is a wildly popular offering in Disney World, as well as Disneyland, which means that registration days, like today, can get pretty intense!
While there are thousands of people who take part in each race, there is still a capacity challenge for many people. It’s recommended that if you want to register for a race, you’re on the website before the registration time, and are ready to work fast when you’re let in. Some races fill up faster than others, and nearly every time, there are numerous guests who aren’t able to register for the races they want before all the spots are gone. If you’ve been hoping to snag a spot in the runDisney Princess Half Marathon Weekend, it’s time to lock in for registration!
Registration for the 2027 runDisney Princess Half Marathon Weekend opens TODAY, June 8th, at 10 AM ET, and there’s already a waiting room active on the runDisney website. The race event will take place from February 25th through March 1st, 2027, and there are three different races to partake in, as well as a yoga session.
runDisney races are also on the more expensive side for some individuals, which can also affect registration for certain races. For this race, the prices are as follows:
- Disney Princess 5K Presented by AdventHealth on February 26th: $125
- Disney Princess 10K Presented by AdventHealth on February 27th: $175
- Disney Princess Half Marathon Presented by AdventHealth on February 28th: $269
- Disney Princess Half Marathon Presented by AdventHealth (February 27th-28th): $449
- Disney Princess Yoga on March 1st: $127
The original registration date was June 2nd, and was also supposed to open at 10 AM ET, but after multiple delays, it was announced that the registration was going to be rescheduled for today, June 8th. As you can imagine, Disney fans weren’t happy, some of them mentioning that they had taken off work to make sure they were ready to register, and other users pointing out that this level of demand isn’t new for runDisney races, so they feel the company should have it figured out by now.
