It’s hard to believe that we’ll soon be saying goodbye to the lazy, hazy days of summer in Disney World and welcoming in fall (because fall always comes early in Disney World!). Although the weather is still screaming summer, we’ll soon be enjoying pumpkin spice drinks and snacks, and we can hardly wait.
That also means that a big change is coming to Magic Kingdom, and no, we’re not just talking about all the spooky Halloween-themed decor that will arrive any day now. We’re talking about another big change: the arrival of Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party.
Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party happens on select nights in Magic Kingdom from August 7th through October 31st. Magic Kingdom will transform for the special occasion, including special Halloween-themed decor you’ll be able to see throughout the park, even during the day. However, if you purchase a ticket to the party, you also get SO much more.
Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party is the one event in Disney World where adults can dress in costume, and are, in fact, ENCOURGED to dress in costume. Of course, certain rules apply, so you’ll want to make yourself familiar with those before you attend. It’s also one of the few opportunities adults and kids alike get to go trick-or-treating at various candy stations throughout Magic Kingdom.
The party also has exclusive character appearances, including Disney Villains, fave characters dressed in Halloween costumes, Jack and Sally, and more. You’ll want to keep an eye out for these special characters.
The party features special entertainment like the Hocus Pocus Villain Spectacular and the Boo-To-You parade. As you can see, there’s a big focus on Disney Villains during the party, so it’s a MUST for Villains fans.
Our favorite part, though, is the special food and drinks you can ONLY get at the party. You’ll be able to find exclusive party snacks and beverages throughout various dining locations in Magic Kingdom. You can see a full list of exclusive snacks here.
Tickets are available now, but they are selling out fast, so you’ll want to get them quickly. Ticket prices range from $119 to $229 per person, depending on the date.
We’ll be LIVE at the first Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party of the year, so be sure to stay tuned to DFB for more.
