Heads up! If your Disney World vacation starts soon and you’re staying at Disney’s Beach Club Villas, you’ll want to be aware of this refurbishment project.

There are currently some construction projects underway throughout the resort, including portions of the lobby.

Until mid-September, the lobby at Disney’s Beach Club Villas will undergo maintenance in phases, during which portions of the lobby may be temporarily unavailable and alternate travel routes may be in place. Guests may see or hear construction in the area from 10 AM to 6 PM while the work is in progress.

Does this put a complete damper on your trip? No, but it’s nice to have a heads-up that you’re walking into a construction zone before you get there!

The EPCOT area resorts are among our favorites because you get so many perks. You can visit the Yacht and Beach Club Resorts, along with the BoardWalk Inn, which are all a few steps away from each other.

You can also walk right into EPCOT! You get to use the International Gateway entrance, so you’ll enter near the U.K. and France Pavilions. This makes it great to rope drop rides like Remy’s Ratatouille Adventure.

There’s also a Skyliner stop at the International Gateway, which makes it easy to visit other hotels and Hollywood Studios. You can’t forget about the boat transportation at the resorts, too. These can be some of the best resorts to stay in if you’re not bringing your own car. Anywhere else, you can take the free bus transportation.
