You may already be well familiar with some of the specialties of the house at this legendary little Adventureland kiosk, like the Banyan Beef Skewer and the Safari — better known as the Bacon-wrapped Asparagus — Skewer. This post was written in 2016, and as of 7/2/17, tickets for the 2017 Chew tapings at Epcot have not been released. We will let you know as soon as they are in a separate post. However, read through this post for helpful tips on how to obtain tickets. Good Luck!
The Cast of ABC TV’s “The Chew” is returning to the 2016 Epcot Food and Wine Festival.
Just like last year — they will be recording episodes of the show LIVE from Epcot from October 5th through 7th!
Interested in attending a taping? If so, you’ve gotta act fast. Tickets have been released, and if last year’s ticket release is any indication, they will be snatched up faster than you can say, “The Chew!”
In case you missed our little primer, here are the steps to nab your tix!
Step 1:
Go directly to abc.go.com/shows/the-chew.
Step 2: From there, click on the Get Tickets box on the bottom right to Attend a Taping of The Chew.
Step 3: Select your preferred DATE from the scroll that appears above the ticket options. [Read more…]

We know, we know… Back-to-School time is fast approaching (and in some spots, it’s already arrived!). But the lazy, hazy, crazy days of summer aren’t quite over just yet, so we’ve still got some summer celebrating to do!
And, hey, the coming of Fall isn’t so bad, anyway. Not when we’ve got our very favorite autumnal event coming to the first stop on our tour in a matter of weeks. That’s why we’re kicking things off at Epcot to see What’s New!
The 2016 Epcot Food & Wine Festival will be here before we know it! Sure signs of its return are starting to appear around the park…
… as in, like, literal signs 😉 . Even the Miniature Train display in the Germany Pavilion has received its annual decorations!
Have you checked out the full list of Booth Menus to start strategizing your noshing plans yet?! It’s never too soon… the Festival starts on September 14th! [Read more…]

Do we really need another reason to enjoy visiting Beaches & Cream?
Probably not.
After all, it’s home to greats like the No Way Jose, some of the Best Grilled Cheese in Disney World, and the World Famous Kitchen Sink (which now has a CHOCOLATE LOVER’S version in addition to the original).
And just this past spring, this 50s-style diner and ice cream parlor debuted a line of Hard Floats and Shakes for adults.
So, no. We don’t need another reason. But guess what?
They’ve gone and given us one anyway! It’s a little menu dedicated to French Fries… fully loaded. There are three kinds of specialty fries to choose from: Gravy Fries, Cheese and Bacon Fries, and Chili and Cheese Fries. [Read more…]

It’s high temps and good times in Walt Disney World this summer season! We’re spotting plenty of frosty summer sips to help you beat the heat, along with all sorts of new restaurants to stop in and take an air-conditioned breather.
And if we’re talking about new restaurants, there’s only one place to start this round of What’s New, and that’s…
I know — it’s as though the openings are never-ending at Disney Springs! The Grand Opening Summer Celebration is ON for this dining, shopping, and entertainment district!
Can you believe it? What once seemed like a never-ending transformation of what was once Downtown Disney to Disney Springs is now complete (though we still have a few more spots to welcome in the coming months!). [Read more…]

We’d like to wish a very Happy Birthday to Vivoli il Gelato! That’s right – the Disney Springs gelateria is turning a year old! This spot has been serving scoops of housemade gelato (with many ingredients imported directly from Italy), sorbet, specialty espresso beverages and baked goods since last June when it first opened its doors. What a difference a year makes, huh? Since Vivoli il Gelato opened, it has been joined in Disney Springs by spots like Joffrey’s Tea Traders Café, Jock Lindsey’s Hangar Bar, Morimoto Asia, and The Ganachery… and that’s JUST in The Landing neighborhood alone! All of that makes this first birthday for Vivoli il Gelato even more momentous, seeing as it can now be considered one of the bona fide veterans of the Disney Springs dining locations added over the past year.
And to celebrate the anniversary, the spot will be serving a limited-run flavor for THIS WEEKEND ONLY! While supplies last, Disney Springs guests will have the chance to try a custom-made Tiramisu Gelato, based on the traditional Italian dessert. [Read more…]

With Memorial Day weekend behind us, summer has unofficially begun. So grab your towel, OODLES of sunscreen, and (Swim) SUIT UP… because I can’t think of a better place to kick off the season than BLIZZARD BEACH!!!
I don’t know about you, but fewer things make me as hungry as a day of splashing the day away at one of Disney World’s two water parks (Blizzard Beach’s counterpart is Typhoon Lagoon). So we thought it would be fun to take you on a little tour of the Quick Service spots around Blizzard Beach and grab a bite or two while we’re at it. We’ll start our tour at one of the first buildings you see as you enter the park. [Read more…]
