A few days ago CEO Bob Chapek announced that Disneyland Shanghai will be reopening on May 11th!

Shanghai Disney Resort was the first Disney theme park property to close due to the global health crisis and will be the first park to reopen.
The second Disney Family Singalong is just around the corner, friends (and we can’t WAIT to listen to all the amazing talent)!

Since the first singalong was such a hit, Volume Two will bring together even more celebrities to perform Disney’s incredible songs and scores!
There has been a lot of news surrounding theme parks reopening around the world.

While Shanghai Disneyland has reopened with some new procedures, Disney World and Disneyland are considering changes they could make before they open their gates to the public. However, theme parks everywhere are having to consider if they will even reopen at all in 2020.
We have been closely monitoring any closures or cancellations Disney announces in response to the current outbreak.

Although Shanghai Disneyland announced its plan to re-open yesterday, the U.S. parks remain closed and Disney cruises have been halted. We recently reported that Disney Cruises were being cancelled as far out as the first week in July, but the Adventures by Disney schedule just received another update.
Although the Disney atmosphere, attractions, and shows are incredible, the Disney Cast Members are really the ones who bring all the magic to the parks (and we love them for it)!

Shanghai Disneyland will be officially re-opening May 11th and we finally know some of the safety measures Disney parks will be implementing when they re-open. CEO Bob Chapek and CFO Christine McCarthy announced Shanghai Disneyland will open later this month, but when asked about when Disney’s other experiences (like cruises) will resume, they were much less certain.
