We bid a sad kwaherini to our beloved Peanut Butter Brownie at the Mara at Walt Disney World’s Animal Kingdom Lodge this summer, but we’re thrilled to say: it’s back! But things aren’t precisely as they were. The original Peanut Butter Brownie was a dense chocolate brownie completely covered in creamy peanut butter frosting.

Cuties® are America’s original clementine brand. And a visit to the Cuties website reveals that Cuties® have been announced as the Official Citrus Fruit of Walt Disney World and Disneyland Resort!

So keep an eye out for Cuties to pop up at all sorts of food locations around the parks this fall. Think especially of better-for-you-fare spots like Prince Eric’s Village Market in Magic Kingdom, Anaheim Produce in Hollywood Studios, Harambe Fruit Market in Animal Kingdom and the like. Cuties will also be available as a side option for kids’ meals at select Counter Service restaurants. Our day in Animal Kingdom was jam-packed with new food, menu changes, construction, and more. But, our favorite part of the day was stopping at the Donald’s Dino-Bash Dance Party and hearing the DJ play Monster Mash and other Halloween songs mixed in with regular pop songs!

No visit to a Disney Park is complete without a wander through the stores. Our visit to Animal Kingdom was no different, and we found some pretty fun new merch for Halloween and Christmas!

We love that in the Animal Kingdom Discovery Trading Company they put this sign out about Bats at Halloween every year.
Halloween means lots of cool Halloween themed items in and around the parks like the Oogie Boogie Popcorn Bucket, Poison Apple Glow Cube, Halloween Themed Resort Mugs and the Headless Horseman Straw Clip.

One of our favorite places to relax and enjoy a few quiet and cool moments is Nomad Lounge in Animal Kingdom. We recently stopped there and enjoyed the apps and drinks. This week we noticed the menu has seen some updates yet again.

It’s no secret it has been hot in Central Florida this summer — and fall so far! We’ve been keeping you updated on the free water in the parks. But while we were at Animal Kingdom we found some changes to the Ice Cream and Slushie locations, and that made us feel cool, so we’re sharing them with you!

First up is perhaps the most colorful Ice Cream Truck we’ve ever seen — the Anandapur Ice Cream Truck!
Even though Pandora has been open for over a year, Animal Kingdom is still a park undergoing some changes and construction. We spotted quite a few construction walls up around the park this week.

On top of the construction there was the announcement that Rafiki’s Planet Watch is closing October 20 for refurbishment until Spring of 2019.
