It’s been a wild ride for Raya and the Last Dragon in Disney’s Animal Kingdom today. We’ve seen new snacks and experiences around the park and gotten to know some characters while we wait for the movie’s release on March 5th. During our trip to Disney’s Animal Kingdom today, we couldn’t help but notice that the Isle of Java was closed.
Isle of Java, in case you’re not familiar, is one of the spots on Discovery Island where you can grab a pick-me-up cup of coffee or pastry. As we explore Magic Kingdom for the first time since mid-March today, we’ve been on the lookout for the locations where guests can temporarily take a break from their face masks — otherwise face masks must be worn at all times by all guests over the age of two for the entirety of their visit.
Other than when guests are seated in restaurants, Disney World’s “relaxation stations” are currently the only spots where guests can remove their face coverings while inside the theme parks. Face masks can be lowered if you’re enjoying a snack or drink, too! Let’s take a look at where you can find these mask-free spots and we’ll keep updating this post as we visit the rest of the Disney World theme parks!
