Today we’re bringing you a guest review from our DFB pal Jennifer Elliott, who attended the new Rose & Crown Tea Experience in Epcot’s World Showcase! This weekend, I had the privilege to attend The Rose & Crown’s brand new Tea Experience. It began promptly at 9:45 am, so make sure to allow plenty of time to walk to the United Kingdom Pavilion.

Cuties® are America’s original clementine brand. And a visit to the Cuties website reveals that Cuties® have been announced as the Official Citrus Fruit of Walt Disney World and Disneyland Resort!

So keep an eye out for Cuties to pop up at all sorts of food locations around the parks this fall. Think especially of better-for-you-fare spots like Prince Eric’s Village Market in Magic Kingdom, Anaheim Produce in Hollywood Studios, Harambe Fruit Market in Animal Kingdom and the like. Cuties will also be available as a side option for kids’ meals at select Counter Service restaurants. The 2018 Swan and Dolphin Food and Wine Classic will take place on Friday, October 26, and Saturday, October 27, 2018.
And this event — which will mark its 9th anniversary this year — is one of my absolute annual favorites!
The Causeway at the Swan and Dolphin Classic
This two-night fall event coincides with the 2018 Epcot Food and Wine Festival and includes The Causeway (which features more than 90 food and beverage stations with dishes from the resort’s 17 restaurants and lounges as well as more than 30 wineries) and four special food areas — Carnival Corner, Beer Garden, Chinatown, and NEW for 2018, The Pig & Poke — along with Educational Seminars.
And this week, we attended a Preview Event to see what’s in store, and let you know what you’ve just GOT to eat on the Causeway this year at the Classic!
First up, from Cib’s Smokehouse is roasted and smoked Iberico pork, fennel puree, honey caramelized apple, and buttered turnip.

Today and yesterday, we have been following a developing story across Walt Disney World and Disneyland Resort. The topic? Price hikes to Disney food and beverage items around both properties.
These price changes, as it turns out, have also affected some food and beverage items at the 2018 Epcot Food and Wine Festival Food Booths….in the middle of the festival. (???)

For example, Refreshment Port‘s food and beverage offerings now show pricing up to $1.00 more than it was at the beginning of the Epcot Food and Wine Festival on nearly every single item.
