Though the Disneyland parks remain closed, Downtown Disney is OPEN and we’ve been spending some time checking out the latest merch. We’ve spotted a TON of cute stuff like the new Minnie Dress and the Disney Parks Tumbler — but this latest find might be our favorite. Trust us, you’re gonna like this one.

Minnie Mouse, of course! The original Disney fashionista has been the source of inspiration behind different designer collections for years, like the Disney X Kate Spade collection we’ve seen at Disney Springs in Disney World, as well as online!
Select shops and restaurants at Downtown Disney have reopened, but we’re still awaiting news regarding the rest of Disneyland Resort!
The Disneyland Hotel Before the Closures
Although The Disneyland Hotel is still closed, we spotted a brand new collection of rather vintage-looking merchandise at World of Disney today! Check out “The Happiest Stay on Earth” items below!
While the theme parks and hotels are still closed, we waltzed by the entrance to Disneyland Park on our way to Downtown Disney today!
Disneyland Park
For all intents and purposes, everything looked pretty normal at first, but as we passed by we noticed that a bit of construction was taking place at The Emporium.
We’ve been on the prowl for the new Jungle Cruise Wishables which just debuted on Disney’s website day!

So far we haven’t seen them for sale in at the parks or at Disneyland’s World of Disney, but we DID discover something else had arrived!
Disneyland opened on July 17th, 1955, so this year marks the 65th anniversary of Walt Disney’s original theme park.
Sleeping Beauty Castle in Disneyland
While Disneyland itself remains closed, some of Downtown Disney’s restaurants and stores have reopened and new Disneyland 65th Anniversary merch has been released at World of Disney and online.
We’re taking you on a trip to a jungle in a faraway place…well, Adventureland in Disneyland to be exact!
Bengal Barbecue
Bengal Barbecue has been serving up bacon-wrapped asparagus and Tiger Tails for just over 30 years (!!!) in Disneyland. And, thank GOODNESS for that!
It’s the home to some delicious eats like Poke Bowls, the Jungle Julep, and that incredible Kalua Pork Sandwich. But, most importantly, Bengal Barbecue grills up some of the BEST kabobs and skewers you can get on Disney property!

Downtown Disney has re-opened to guests so they can visit their favorite stores and restaurants in the district!
Downtown Disney!
Although we’ve been happy to dine at spots like Tortilla Jo’s and shop at the World of Disney for new face masks, due to Disneyland’s delayed reopening we haven’t yet been able to visit their parks and resorts. And while reservations had originally been available for select Disneyland hotels in August, it now looks like we might have to wait a little while longer before we will be able to visit!
