It’s time to find out what’s new in Disney’s Hollywood Studios!
Let’s see what’s new!
Disney World is constantly busy and full of new things! With the newest merchandise celebrating the 100th Anniversary of the Walt Disney Company, all of the new restaurants coming in 2023, and even the new items to help us bring in the New Year, Disney has been keeping us busy lately. Now, we’re heading over to Hollywood Studios to show you everything that’s new this week!
Florida can sometimes get hit with some unusually chilly weather!
Everyone is bundled up for the season!
During the holiday season especially, we often see guests in the Disney World parks bundled up more than usual, wearing outfits complete with hats, scarves, gloves, and lots of layers. Typically, winter is fairly mild for the Central Florida area, but cold snaps can happen, so theme park guests might look to modify their plans. And in the case of one theme park, you’re likely to see some pretty unpredictable trends.
There may still be Christmas lights up all around your neighborhood, but that doesn’t mean we can’t start preparing for the next holiday!
Sweetheart Cupcake
If you’re anything like us, you love celebrating holidays with Disney style! We can typically rely on Target to keep our Disney fix going when we’re away from the parks, and now we’re already seeing goodies to get us in the Valentine’s Day spirit!
With the recent arctic blast that hit Florida and brought with it freezing temperatures, many dreamed of Disney World seeing a true snowstorm that wasn’t made of just snoap!
This isn’t just fake snow either!
Ultimately, the parks didn’t end up having a true White Christmas. But another Disney park just saw its first snowfall of winter and it’s just as beautiful as you could imagine!

Travel has been severely impacted this past week due to storms across the United States which led to hundreds of canceled or delayed flights and a warning from President Biden regarding travel. Now, China has made an announcement that will majorly impact future travel to the country.
Update: Park Pass availability continues to change. We’ve placed some updates in this post but continue to check for updates on Disney World’s Park Pass availability calendars.
If you’re hoping to go to Disney World in January of 2023, there’s one date that you’ll have to cross off from your plans.
EPCOT
All Disney World guests are still required to obtain a valid Park ticket and Park Pass for the park they wish to visit in order to enter. When all Park Passes for a particular day sell out, that’s IT — no more visiting Disney World on that day (unless availability changes). Well, if you’re heading to Disney World right now or really soon and you haven’t bought those tickets yet (or forgot to grab your Park Pass), there’s a big update you need to know about.
Staying at Disney’s Aulani Resort in Hawaii is a total bucket list item for many!

Flying out to an island in the middle of the Pacific Ocean might not be an everyday possibility for many though — no matter how badly we want to try Mickey shave ice while laying by the pool!
Disney’s Animal Kingdom is a wildly good time. (See what we did there?)
Animal Kingdom’s Tree of Life
Disney World has been pretty busy as we’re wrapping up 2022 with new menu announcements, ticket price increases, and new merchandise to prep for the New Year! Now we’re headed into Animal Kingdom to see everything new we found this past week!
