Big CHANGES have hit Disney this week.
From changes with Genie+ to changes on restaurant menus, things aren’t all the same as they were just a few days ago. Let’s go through some of the biggest updates from this week!
While some families love the planning that a Disney World vacation takes, others may prefer a more laid-back option like Disney Cruise Line!
When on a Disney Cruise, most of your dining is included, and you can choose whether or not you want to book extra offerings outside what is offered on the ship (which is a TON). So you can just sit back and relax if that’s what you wish! The Disney Dream especially has so many offerings to take advantage of while on board, and now you can win a trip on the Dream with just a few clicks!
Air travel has been changing a lot lately.
Mask requirements changed, flight routes have been taken away and added in some areas, new airlines have been introduced, and some airlines are even trying to merge. There have been issues with canceled flights recently, and it doesn’t look like that’s going to change any time soon.
Disney World has so many hotels to choose from, it can be hard to pick a favorite!
There are so many choose from, from the higher-end Deluxe Resorts like Beach Club Resort, to the amazingly themed Art of Animation and a whole host of hotels in between. Because there are so many of them, there’s always something new happening! So, let’s take a look at what’s new at the Disney World hotels.
Father’s Day is right around the corner!
There are tons of ways you can celebrate your Dad, including exclusive foods in Disney World. One of the most stressful parts of Father’s Day is finding the perfect gift for Dad, and we’ve got some Disney-themed gift guides to help! If you’re still looking for a gift for Dad, then check out this Father’s Day sale!
There are some Disney snacks that are just straight up classics, especially over in Disneyland!
Churros, corn dogs, giant pickles, Dole Whip — there are a lot of fun foods you can have while walking around the original Disney theme park. We love the classics, but sometimes it’s also exciting when those classics get a new twist! So, let’s check out a spin on a Disney pretzel over in Disneyland!
When discussing the best desserts in Disney World, what comes to mind? Do you think of EPCOT’s treats, like Kringla Bakeri Og Kafe’s School Bread? Or a classic snack, like a Cheshire Cat Tail, from Magic Kingdom? Maybe you like to venture to Animal Kingdom for Blueberry Cream Cheese Mousse from Pandora? Or, do you dream of a Hollywood Studios favorite, like the Grapefruit Cake from Hollywood Brown Derby?

A Dessert from The Edison
Disney World’s parks are probably what you think of when discussing dessert. But what about Disney Springs?! Yes, there are amazing options there for breakfast, lunch, and dinner, and our favorite “meal” (we like to consider it a meal, anyways) of all — dessert?! Today we’re sharing the best desserts Disney Springs has to offer!
Disney loves celebrating holidays and events, even the ones we wouldn’t know about otherwise!
Disney is celebrating Pride Month this month in many different ways, and in April they celebrated Halfway to Halloween. We’ve also already started seeing Christmas ornaments in the parks about half a year before Christmas comes to town! Did you know there’s such a thing as National Rosé Day? Well, now you do! And you can celebrate all weekend long at Wine Bar George in Disney Springs with a free drink!
Disney is no stranger to supply shortages. We’ve seen issues with bubble wand shortages, and the Monte Cristo sandwich was even taken off the menu at the Plaza Restaurant due to a turkey shortage.
More recently, we’ve seen the ramifications of the Jif peanut butter recall in the parks as some desserts and food items with peanut butter were not available. And now, there’s another ingredient shortage that may lead to missing menu items in the Disney parks.
One can never have too many pairs of Minnie ears, can they?
We’ve seen some pretty amazing ears recently, too — we went NUTS over the Scarlet Witch ears when they were released online (and when we found them at Disney World yesterday). We thought the Mickey Mouse: The Main Attraction Mad Tea Party ears were totally adorable. Ewok ears? We’re in! But the ears we saw today…well…we have questions.
