Magic Kingdom’s Plaza Restaurant invites guests to dine and linger in the turn-of-the-century charm of Main Street, U.S.A.!

This bright and airy dining parlor serves classic meals such as the Triple Decker Turkey Club Sandwich, Bacon Cheeseburger, and more… with the “and more” including ice cream sundaes, so don’t miss your chance to indulge in a good old-fashioned Banana Split!

The Plaza is well-known as a reasonably-priced table service option in the park; it’s a great dining experience for not a lot of dough.

The Atmosphere at The Plaza Restaurant

The Plaza Restaurant is located on the far end of Main Street, U.S.A., by the Main Street Ice Cream Parlor.

Inside, the restaurant is on the smaller side, but it has huge windows on one side of the dining room and mirrors on the other to make the room appear bigger.

Inside, the decor features lots of turn-of-the-century charm, plus a great view of Cinderella Castle.

Nosh or Not

Head to the Plaza Restaurant if…

• Main Street, U.S.A. is your favorite part of the Magic Kingdom. The Plaza Restaurant is the perfect embodiment of Main Street, U.S.A. The decorations are all in the elegant turn-of-the-century style, and the menu features classic American cuisine. We tend to get a little sappy and sentimental when we’re walking down Main Street, and if you do, too, this is a great place to really soak in that charming atmosphere.
• Are looking for an affordable but quality meal. Many of the entrees here are under $25 – not bad, eh? Yes, Disney World has a reputation for being an expensive place to go on vacation, but this is one of those places where you can get away with spending less while still enjoying good food (lookin’ at you, Plaza Loaded Fries).
• Agree that ice cream makes any meal 10X better. Three words: Original Banana Split. They’ve even got milkshakes! This restaurant is right next door to the Plaza Ice Cream Parlor, but here, you get delicious ice cream in a quieter (and air-conditioned) setting.

Skip the Plaza Restaurant if you…

• Want over-the-top Disney theming. You won’t find anything that directly screams, “Disney” here, so be warned. This is a charming restaurant, but if you’ve got little kids to impress, they might start getting bored and restless.
• You’re over all the sandwiches and French fries. It’s nice to be able to sit down and relax in the middle of a park day. But, honestly, the food here is more or less the same type of food you can get at a quick-service restaurant. Yes, the burger is a little more elevated than, say, a burger at Cosmic Ray’s, but Disney World has a LOT of burgers to choose from.
• Are visiting outside of the holiday season. The Plaza Restaurant has the added bonus of exclusive menu items for Halloween and Christmas. If you want those specialty menu items, you might want to wait for the holiday season to dine here. Otherwise, you’ll be limited to the standard menu.

• The ice cream comes from the Main Street Ice Cream Parlor next door!
• From some of the Plaza tables, you’ll be able to see the festivities on Main Street. It’s a skewed view, but a view nonetheless.
• The Plaza Restaurant offers Mobile Dine Check-In.
• You may find last-minute availability for The Plaza on the Mobile Dine Walk-up Waitlist.
• Annual Passholders, Disney Visa Cardholders, and Disney Vacation Club Members should inquire about a discount.
