It’s already the middle of April 2024? How did that happen?
It’s been a busy week in Disney World, too. We learned about a new exclusive lounge coming soon to Disney World. We’ve been getting some clues about what other Tiana-themed things could be coming to Disney World (hint: we want to see a restaurant!). We’re also just waiting for Disney to announce an official opening date for Tiana’s Bayou Adventure in Magic Kingdom. (we think we’ll know really soon). Meanwhile, Disney World restaurants were busy changing, like they always do.
Magic Kingdom
The Plaza Restaurant
The Plaza Restaurant got a bit of a menu shake-up. Here’s how Entrees changed:
- REMOVED: Home-style Meatloaf and Crab Cake Sandwich
- ADDED: Chipotle Barbecue Pork Sandwich — Slow cooked Pulled Pork with Chipotle Barbecue Sauce and Coleslaw served on a Toasted Potato Bun for $17
- ADDED: Shrimp Louie Salad — Chilled Shrimp, Hard-boiled Eggs, Tomatoes, Avocado, and Cucumber over Romaine served with a Zesty Remoulade for $22
The Kid’s meals changed, too:
- REMOVED: Grilled Chicken Strips
- ADDED: Macaroni & Cheese — Served with choice of two Selections and choice of Small Lowfat Milk, Small DASANI Bottled Water, or Small Minute Maid Apple Juice for $11.50

Two new shakes have been added to the menu, including a Chocolate Shake with Baileys Irish Cream and Kahlúa Liqueur for $17
You can also get a Vanilla Shake with Baileys Irish Cream and Kahlúa Liqueur for $17.

- Mickey-shaped Waffle changed from $13.50 to $12.50
- Chorizo, Egg & Cheese Empanadas changed from $8 to $10
- ADDED: Mickey-shaped Waffles Breakfast Platter — Scrambled Eggs, Two Mickey Waffles, served with your choice of Bacon or Sausage for $15.50
- ADDED: Buttermilk Pancakes Breakfast Platter — Scrambled Eggs, Two Mickey Pancakes, served with your choice of Bacon and Sausage for $15.50
Here’s how Sides have changed:
- Bacon changed from $3.99 to $4.99
- Sausage changed from $3.99 to $4.99
- REMOVED:Â Breakfast Potatoes
- Scrambled Eggs changed from $3.99 to $4.99
- ADDED: Hash Browns for $4.99

We’ve got some breakfast changes at this restaurant, too. Under Sides, Steel-cut Oatmeal and Potato Barrels are no longer on the menu.
For lunch and dinner, Large Cheese Pizza has been removed from the menu, along with the Kid’s Cheeseburger. The following bakery items have also been removed: Mickey-shaped Brownie, Cinnamon Roll, and Cherry Danish.

Here’s how the menu at Leaning Palms has changed:
- Barbecue Chicken and Grilled Pineapple Flatbread description changed from }Homemade Barbecue Grilled Chicken and Roasted Pineapple, Red Onions, and Cilantro with Barbecue Sauce and Mozzarella” to “Barbecued Spiced Chicken, Mango Barbecue Sauce, Mozzarella, Roasted Pineapple, Pickled Red Onion, and Chopped Cilantro drizzled with Pesto”
- REMOVED: Cinnamon-Banana-Pineapple Cocktail, Frozen Tropical Storm Lemonade, and Frozen Tropical Hurricane Lemonade
