Hong Kong Disneyland just released a new musical collaboration and we’re OBSESSED.
It’s been one year since the global pandemic shut down the Disney theme parks and, of course, completely changed the way we live.
For a lot of us, the biggest change isn’t in how we vacation (though that has changed!), it’s about how we work. Yep, remote work has become as much a part of our lives as wearing face coverings and carrying around hand sanitizer.
If you’re looking for ideas, news, or entertainment, we’ve got you covered with this ULTIMATE list of Disney Instagram accounts to follow!
We needed the holidays so bad this year that Disney let us have it early! And a key ingredient to the Disney Holidays that we love so much is the music and this year you don’t have to visit the parks to hear Disney holiday tunes!
Disney shared a holiday playlist that you can add to the continuous holiday music that you have playing in the house (if you’re anything like us)!
Disney World is always changing, evolving, and growing — even more so lately due to the global health crisis. Although we’ve seen some of our favorite attractions and entertainment returning, some are going away forever.
Live entertainment has also changed throughout the Disney World resort, and we recently learned we’ll soon have to say goodbye to Disney’s Grand Floridian Society Orchestra.
Is it weird that we’re so obsessed with the music in The Haunted Mansion that we kinda wish we could have it on loop for a sound machine?
No? We thought so too! So imagine our DELIGHT when we heard some spookily familiar tunes while walking down Main Street, U.S.A. It’s official: Halloween is upon us! Well, practically.
The original content on Disney+ makes for great viewing AND listening!
And if you’re a fan of the Disney+ series, The Imagineering Story, we have some great news — Disney has now released the original soundtrack from the show!
Hoop-Dee-Doo Musical Revue at Walt Disney World’s Fort Wilderness Resort and Campground has been entertaining diners for almost 45 years, and we’ve certainly enjoyed our share of shows by the Pioneer Hall Players. (Read our last review of Hoop-Dee-Doo here!)
But while Hoop-Dee-Doo is known for its on-stage antics and overall energy, the food has not taken center stage. Not even close. The fare includes traditional crowd-pleasers like fried chicken, ribs, mashed potatoes, and cornbread, but this is basically banquet food churned out in what feels like a conveyor belt production.
So why would I still say Hoop-Dee-Doo is something everyone should try at least once? Because the show is entertaining enough to justify enduring some mediocre food. And you’re really paying for that entertainment, not for the grub. (Although, of course, we see high-priced mediocre foods in plenty of restaurants that don’t have shows, soooo… .)
I kept my recent ADR for Hoop-Dee-Doo because of the show and because I like to give Walt Disney World restaurants a second (and a third and an infinite) try. Has the food improved? Is the show still compelling? Let’s see how they’re Hoop-Dee-Doin’ it.
More of us are working from home these days, which can bring about some unique challenges in trying to get through the day. Through the magic of YouTube, we’re bringing you music from the Disney parks and movies to keep you entertained while you work from home! You can also search for these songs on Spotify/Apple Music and build your own playlist.
We were inspired by the Dapper Dans’ special performance that got us thinking, what other Disney music can we enjoy while working from home? We found HOURS of Disney music to listen to help get you through your workday! Let the listening party begin!
