2022 is a BIG year for Disney!
We’re in the middle of the Disney World 50th Anniversary celebrations, holiday parties are returning in full force to the parks this year, and the D23 Expo will be happening in the fall! If you’re a big Disney fan, the D23 Expo is a BIG deal, because we usually get lots of updates and announcements from the company. And now, Disney has announced that a popular pop-up shop is returning to the expo this year!
Are you finding it difficult to keep up with all of the new Disney collections? If so, you’re not alone.
There’s the Disney Designer Collection dolls, Mickey Mouse: The Main Attraction collection, Loungefly collections, Dooney & Bourke collections — hold on, we need to catch our breath. And now, we have yet another collection to look forward to, and it features some of our favorite furry adventurers.
There’s always a ton of construction going on at Disney World — the resort is always expanding and changing, which was always part of Walt Disney’s original intent for Disney Parks.
In the past year, though, construction has kicked into full gear — from the massive ongoing EPCOT overhaul to the TRON ride construction in Magic Kingdom to all the work being done at the Fantasmic! theater, we only expect to see even construction in the future. And now, a new permit suggests that a shop at Disney World might be getting an upgrade.

We stopped by Disney Springs today to check out what was going on and we found something surprising…not one, but TWO locations were closed today!
But, we’ve also seen changes announced when it comes to your local Disney Stores. Earlier this year, Disney announced that it would be closing 20% of its Disney Stores as the company shifts its focus to e-commerce. So, what will the future of shopping for Disney merchandise look like? We got a few more details today and it looks like some changes are on the way!!
