Another Popular Disney Shop Has CLOSED For Refurbishment

A LOT of changes are happening in Downtown Disney at Disneyland Resort.

Recently, three new restaurants opened in Downtown Disney (THREE!!!). The Parkside Market, which will feature even more food, is coming soon. Din Tai Fung will be moving in soon. Tortilla Jo’s closed, but something else is coming there soon. Now, one of the most popular shops in Downtown Disney has closed for a huge makeover.

We previously announced that Marceline’s Confectionery (yes, that place where you can get all the yummy treats like the Peanut Butter Sandwich, Churro Toffee, and more) would close for refurbishment. Well, that’s officially happened. However, only the INSIDE of the shop is closed.

The good news is that you can still pick up some treats in FRONT of the shop. An area has been set up where you can grab some of your favorite snacks outside, so you can still get your hands on those caramel apples, cookies, churro toffee, peanut butter squares, and more.

You can also still place a Mobile Order for items and pick them up outside the shop. This even includes some of the packaged snacks they offered inside, including bags of candy, snacks, and more. You can also get water and soda.

So don’t worry — you’ll still be able to get your favorite snacks in Downtown Disney! Note that a lot of these snacks are also available inside the parks, too, at Trolley Treats and Bing Bong’s Sweet Stuff in Disney California Adventure and Candy Palace in Disneyland.

Disney is redesigning the interior of Marceline’s to offer an “all-new, expanded and completely reimagined confection experience featuring your favorite treats and fun new tasty offerings.” Disney hasn’t shared any details yet on what that might look like, but we’ll be keeping an eye out for updates.
