Not only have we seen incredible content come to Disney+ (we’re looking at you, Moon Knight!), but Disney-owned ESPN+ and Hulu have also had their fair share of popular titles as well. And, to celebrate National Streaming Day, Hulu is offering a deal on one of their subscription plans!

Not long ago we reported that Disney+ would be introducing an ad-supported subscription later in 2022, with a separate subscription option for people willing to pay more for no ads, and recently we learned a few details about what those ads might be like. Disney also announced just how many ads you may be watching if you opt for this future subscription, so find out whether this could be a dealbreaker for you.

We’ve seen a ton of original content, like The Mandalorian and WandaVision, as well as the release of blockbuster movies on the service, like Pixar’s Turning Red. A big thing that set Disney+ apart from some other streaming services was its lack of advertising. But, ads are coming to Disney+ later this year, and now, we know more about the types of ads subscribers can expect to see.
After Disney World and other Disney parks around the world closed in 2020 due to the pandemic, many analysts made predictions about when things could reopen, what losses the Company would have, and more.

Before and after many of the parks reopened, analysts also weighed in on Disney+, Disney’s stock, and other topics related to the company. But, how accurate have these analysts been? What predictions did they get right and which ones were WAY off? We’re breaking it all down!

A few months ago, Disney announced plans to expand the service even further with the option to subscribe to a Disney+ plan with advertisements at a lower cost, which would (theoretically) allow more individuals to subscribe to the service. The service has continued to grow since its release in 2019, with estimates claiming that by the year 2026, Disney+ will have more subscribers than Netflix. Today, Disney met for the Fiscal Year 2022 Quarter 2 Earnings call, which provided some insight into how Disney+ is doing.
