Last week, Disney announced that the Florida Resident Discover Disney ticket would be returning for the first several months of 2021. Now, that day has arrived and Florida Residents can grab BIG savings on their Disney visits!
We’ve got BIG news for Florida-based Disney fans!
You may remember that Florida residents have had access to a special ticket at select times of the year, called the Florida Resident Discover Ticket. This option gives Floridians BIG savings and flexibility when it comes to visiting Disney World parks on non-consecutive days. Now, that offer is BACK!
Recently, Disneyland and Disney World shared that they would not be accepting new bookings until July. Since then, Disney World’s Senior VP has clarified that reservation availability does not indicate park reopening.
And while we recently reported guests with Disney World and Disneyland Resort with hotel reservations through the end of May were being notified that their bookings had been canceled, now Disney is reaching out to notify guests that their early June reservations are being canceled as well. When Disney World closed to the public back in March, Disney announced that all Florida Resident Discover Disney tickets may be used until July 31, 2020.
However, the parks still remain closed and Disney World Resort hotel reservations are currently not listed as available until July 1st. Consequently, Disney decided to extend the Discover Disney Ticket eligibility date.
