Calling all movie stars! Welcome back to Disney’s Hollywood Studios!
We’re back in the park to see what’s new since our last visit. So let’s check out the latest updates from this lovely theme park!
Since we adore Disney food so much, it’s natural that we are obsessed with Disney kitchenware as well!
We’ve seen new aprons and oven mitts recently in the parks that make baking Num Num Cookies and ‘Ohana Bread Pudding at home so much more fun! But now, there is a new Disney kitchen set you can grab online for those days where you just want to BAKE.
We’ve been hanging out at Downtown Disney recently doing some shopping, checking out the holiday decor, and seeing all that Buena Vista Street has to offer.
Follow along with us to see everything that’s new at Downtown Disney. We’re talking new Avengers merch, LOTS of kitchenware, and some new pins!
Disney has also shared lots of recipes this year so we can replicate some of our favorite treats from the parks in our own homes. Well, we’re Disney-fying our kitchens even more with this new kitchenware!
What makes us love bread so much? Is it the gorgeous, golden exterior? The crunchy, crackly crust? Or perhaps the light, moist, buttery insides? Okay, we need to stop we’re getting hungry.
Do you know someone who loves bread as much as we do? Have a sister who’s infamous for demolishing the yeast rolls at Thanksgiving? Maybe you befriended the diner with the regional record for most Olive Garden breadsticks eaten in one sitting? Whatever the case, the holidays are coming up and we’re pretty sure we all have at least one bread lover in our lives.
We can’t always be in the Disney parks eating the food we love (sigh)… BUT, we can bring a little bit of the magic home to our kitchens.
Mickey-themed treats are some of our favorite Disney items! Now, you can have your own Mickey-themed kitchenware when you make dinner, dessert, or even just keep your meals fresh.
Want to add some Disney whimsy to your kitchen? ShopDisney has just dropped a fun line of kitchen goodies called Disney Eats: Kitchen Cookware Essentials! You can already find the collection online, and starting in late-April, you can pick up your favorites in the Disney Store.
So on what will we be spending all of our money? First, of course, you’ll want to look the part. This fun Apron features Mickey in front and profile views, plus his shoes, gloves, and pants! There are also Mickey Glove Oven Mitts![Read more…]
More Epcot Food and Wine Festival info comin’ your way!!
While we wait for the 2012 Epcot Food and Wine Festival menus to be revealed, let’s take a look at some of the merchandise that will be sold at this year’s Festival scheduled for September 28 – November 12.
According to the DisneyParks Blog, Disney’s Event Merchandise department has created some unique items for this year’s event.
First up, I HAVE to show you these limited edition pins. Cranberry bog fans will want to collect the Mickey Mouse in a cranberry bog version… Now, I ask you, WHY does Mickey get to go in the cranberry bog and I DON’T?!??!
I’ve been asking Ocean Spray on twitter (@OceanSprayInc if you’d like to petition for me) for months to let me get in the bog, and, alas, no answer…
Also showing up in pin form: The main logo pin features Chip and Dale. Disney Vacation Club members should look for a Minnie Mouse pin, and Annual Passholders might want to pick up the new Figment pin (!!!!) — yes please.
Vinyl fans will love that limited edition Vinylmation figure! The 3-inch figure features Tony from “Lady and the Tramp.” Designed by Billy Davis, the edition size is ONLY 2,500.
Check out this piece – it’s the signature artwork element that will be used on some of the merchandise pieces like cutting boards, trivets, spoon rests, coffee mugs, and coasters. (Looks like we also get a sneak peek at what the Marketplace Passports will look like!)
Two drinkware pieces that will be showcasing the festival logo include a wine glass and light-up tumbler.
(Yes, I am getting a light-up tumbler and you can’t stop me. I’m putting it on my tray when I walk through the festival. Yes, I bring a tray to the festival.)
Look for the following “sketch” on kitchen items like [Read more…]
