Last month, Six Flags Magic Mountain announced that the iconic, once record-breaking shuttle coaster Superman: Escape from Krypton – – has been permanently closed.

We’ve lost a lot of things on vacation, from items of clothing left behind at our Disney World hotel to little souvenirs we somehow lost track of to sunglasses that we might have laid down on a table and walked away from. We’re all guilty of it. But what happens if you’re on a ride, like a roller coaster, for example, and you lose your phone on it? Well, don’t panic, but that’s exactly what happened to one major celebrity. Alright, alright, alright, let’s tell you the story.
One of the biggest complaints from Disney Parks fans surrounds the rising prices of everything from theme park tickets to food and hotels.
Disney World is getting more expensive
Guests have also raised concerns about the additional costs that have to now be paid for services that were once free, like Genie+ and airport transportation. However, demand for Disney Parks is as reportedly still VERY high, and Disney’s theme park revenue has seen some big increases. But after another theme park raised its prices, it got the opposite result — a loss in revenue.
There is a lot of very advanced technology we see throughout theme parks around the world.

There are trackless ride systems and drones, and we’ve seen projection mapping and even real lightsabers just at Disney Parks alone. Theme parks are usually trying to use the latest and greatest technology when embarking on new projects, so it’s understandable that they regularly look at new inventions and devices. Well, a new invention could be coming soon to Orlando theme parks, and it has to do with robots.
Shanghai Disneyland reopened after its lengthy closure just this past Monday. However, all other Disney Parks around the world — including, of course, Walt Disney World and Disneyland — remain closed until further notice in light of the current global health situation.

That said, Disney has shared some of the health and safety measures being considered for the eventual reopening of all the parks. One measure is limiting guest capacity in order to promote physical distancing. This has already been implemented with the reopening of Shanghai Disneyland, which — during this initial phase — is requiring the advance purchase of theme park tickets assigned to a date, as well as required reservations for Annual Passholders.
