Disney World’s Candlelight Processional is a popular event during the EPCOT International Festival of the Holidays. The event is presented three times each night at the America Gardens Theater in The American Adventure pavilion.
The Candlelight Processional historically begins the day after Thanksgiving (which, in 2024, will be November 29th). Stay tuned for the 2024 Festival dates and information! In the meantime, you can find our 2023 coverage here on this page to familiarize yourself with the event.Â
The Disney World Candlelight Processional
During the event, the Christmas story is told by a celebrity narrator while a 50-piece orchestra and choir (composed of a Disney cast member choir along with an ever-changing group of guest choirs from around the country) accompany the re-telling. The event is held on select nights in November and December.

Disney World Candlelight Processional Dining Package — Table Service, Book in Advance
Because seating for the Candlelight Processional is scarce and first-come, first-served, many guests choose to guarantee their seat by purchasing a Candlelight Processional Dining Package.
This coveted ticket provides guests with a breakfast, lunch, or dinner meal at a participating EPCOT restaurant and guaranteed seating to the popular Candlelight Processional holiday spectacular held at 5:15PM, 7PM, and 8:30PM. (Reserved fireworks viewing is not included.)
Advance Dining Reservations may be made 60 days out starting at 6AM, and interested guests may book online, through the My Disney Experience app, or by calling (407) WDW-DINE. (Please note, however, that WDW-DINE phone line does not open until 7AM, so booking online or via the My Disney Experience app is recommended for the quickest results and best availability.)
Candlelight Processional Package Dining Time
When booking online or through the My Disney Experience app, guests will select a specific showtime before choosing which restaurant they wish to reserve. (You will not be able to view the available dining times at the participating restaurants until you choose a showtime.)
You are able to select and view different restaurant availability for various showtimes as you wish before finalizing your reservation.
Guests booking by phone may verify corresponding show times with the Cast Member they book through.
Each reservation requires a “credit card guarantee,” which means that a credit card number is required for booking. Your card won’t be charged at booking, but it will be held and charged a fee of $10 per guest on the reservation if you don’t show up for the meal or cancel up to two hours in advance.
