This post is part of the DFB #OnTheList series, where we feature eats you’ve GOT to have while you’re at Disney! Let us know what’s on YOUR Disney Food Bucket List @DisneyFoodBlog #OnTheList!
Here’s an iconic Disney snack that you can put #OnTheList whether you’re in Disney World OR Disneyland. And no matter which coast you’re on, you’ll find them practically everywhere… and that’s a VERY good thing when we’re talking about Mickey Rice Krispy Treats!
In places like The Confectionery, Seashore Sweets, and Sweet Spells in Disney World, you’ll likely spot several different versions up for grabs…
Toppings can include mini M&Ms, crushed Reese’s Peanut Butter Cups or a million little Oreo bits, all drizzled in chocolate.
Of course, Mickey may be decked out in entirely different duds, depending on the season of your visit!
At locations like Disneyland’s Candy Palace, this snack gets the real gourmet treatment!
You’ll have to keep your eyes peeled at Zuri’s Sweets Shop in Animal Kingdom, because they’re camouflaged to match their surroundings 😉 .
Need one to share? Then check out the JUMBO SIZE!
And though it may not be Mickey-shaped, you gotta give props to a treat that has the ability to disguise itself as ANOTHER iconic Disney snack… the Jumbo Turkey Leg!
Wanna top it your way? You can even customize your Krispy Treat at Goofy’s Candy Co. in Disney Springs.
But whether your Rice Krispy Mickey is dressed up or down, the base is always the same: a mix of marshmallow, butter, and rice krispy cereal (which is why I’ve called this “breakfast” on many a Disney vacation morning!).
And, yes, I know we can all make these at home. But still, there’s something missing that only exists when I have one in Disney World or Walt’s original park — some special blend of the ingredients or pinch of pixie dust that I can’t quite capture in my own chef’s hat. Then again, maybe it’s all just in the surroundings…
The Mickey Rice Krispy Treat is a classic mix of yumminess and nostalgia; a delicious old school treat that thankfully — no matter which way you top it — never changes.

We had quite a few snack credits left on our last trip and so we stopped at Goofy’s Candy Co. where we turned them into a bag full of Mickey crispy treats. Great way to extend the trip or bring a small gift for a coworker, providing you don’t eat them all on the way home.
This is a must have treat for me. And it has to be on the stick the others taste different.
This is my ultimate DW treat. I do not know what pixie dust crack they put in these, but I eat way more than I ever should. I hoard snack credits to come home with them and have been known to shamelessly talk people into saving their credits on trips I’m not even on to bring these home to me.
I love these but am disappointed they are now only covered with chocolate, toppings and drizzle on one side of the Krispy. They used to be covered on both sides.
I’m ashamed to say I have never had these!! Definitely a must-do on our trip in Sept. By the way, I’m always crazy-excited for Disney, but I want you to know that this site has brought my excitement to a whole new level. THANK YOU!!!
Where did the block rice Krispy treats that were sold at the Germany Pavilion gone?
cool
They are wonderful but I agree with the above comment that it has to be the ones on a stick.
