If you are considering booking Disney World’s Free Dining promotion for later this year, you now have an extended window of time to do just that.
The booking window, which was originally open through July 7, 2018, has been extended to August 1, 2018.
Other details for the offer have remained the same:
Free Dining is being offered to guests ARRIVING during the dates listed below.
August 20 – September 29, 2018
November 24 – November 27, 2018
December 7 – December 23, 2018
If you stay at a participating Value or Moderate Resort, you’ll receive the Quick Service Dining plan for FREE. (Note that you can upgrade to the standard or deluxe dining plans by paying the difference in cost per night.)
If you reserve a participating Deluxe or Deluxe Villa Resort, you will receive the standard Disney Dining plan for FREE. (You can upgrade to the deluxe dining plan by paying the difference in cost per night.)

How can you tell if the free dining has been added to your stay? Does it just list the dining package on your my Disney experience or should it say “free”?
It’s appearing on our booking but I’m scared of being charged when we get there.
Do I need to ask my agent?
Bec, if you weren’t charged for it at the time of booking, you shouldn’t have an added charge upon arrival. You could reach out to your agent or to Disney Reservations just to ease your mind. Have a great trip!
Booked vacation in April for arrival 11/24/18 @ Disney World. All free dining at Value resorts are completely sold out. Very discouraging when trying to take advantage of special offers that they are not available 7months out.
Is this offer only for US residents? I”m coming from Australia in September, this would save us tons of $$$!
I ordered the DFG 2018 a month ago, but never received it. When will it be arriving?

Julie, there’s a free dining offer for US residents and UK residents, so Australia is not included officially. You could try contacting Disney Reservations to see if they will honor a UK rate for you, but there’s no guarantee (or really any affirmative information online to support whether this could happen). I hope you have a great trip!
