pastry chefs are always conceptualizing new cupcakes to wow their guests, and the Disney Parks Blog shared two brand new princess-inspired cupcakes that we just had to show you.
In Landscape of Flavors at the Art of Animation Resort, guests can now pick up the Mermaid Tail Cupcake. This is a vanilla cupcake filled with pineapple compote and topped with a swirl of coconut buttercream. Garnishes include a glitter-dusted white chocolate mermaid tail (a la Ariel, of course!), crispy pearls, and graham cracker crumbs.

The colors totally pop, and we love the idea of pairing the tropical flavors of pineapple and coconut. We’re going to make this a part of our world ASAP!
The second princess-inspired cupcake comes from All-Star Music’s Intermission Food Court. This bold, colorful design captures the spirit of Sleeping Beauty herself! The Princess Aurora Cupcake is a vanilla base with PINK and BLUE cotton candy buttercream of course. Contrasting sprinkles and a white chocolate version of Aurora’s crown complete the simple but powerful design.

You’ll be ready to greet your adoring public after you dig into these beautiful cupcakes! We expect these to grace the pastry cases only through February, so don’t hesitate! Make a royal decree that they shall be yours — soon!

how months do special cupcakes go on for?
Lisa, generally they vary in time — but these two are noted as February treats on Disney Parks Blog.
Is anyone else bothered by that tail? Why in the world don’t they just pop it in as if the mermaid is diving? Leaving it on an angle just seems wrong!
