Yesterday, the Disney Parks Blog released two images published in the Gold Member-exclusive D23 Magazine! These images give fans a peek inside Disneyland’s Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge as it nears its grand opening in just a few weeks!
The summer edition of D23 Magazine features a stunning photo of Millennium Falcon: Smugglers Run, the first major attraction operating in Galaxy’s Edge. Tons of detail can be seen, including some of the mechanics of the Millennium Falcon, exteriors of related buildings, and lots of galactic wear-and-tear!
The second image will be a two-fold spread in the magazine and showcases another building and some background scenery from Black Spire Outpost. Rock outcroppings appear gray, brown, and blue in the distance.
The official Disney Parks Blog notes that the D23 Magazine summer issue features three stories about Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge that cover topics including the land’s new attractions, Batuu’s immersion and technologies, and a walk-through led by Walt Disney Imagineering Creative Executive Scott Trowbridge.
And soon guests will be walking through all on their own as the land opens on May 31! To be one of the FIRST in the new land, Click here for information about Disneyland’s Galaxy’s Edge reservation system!
