We’re just starting to get the first big news out of the D23 Expo…and it’s awesome! We’ve finally got a tiny bit of new information about the Disney World Star Wars Hotel!
Previously, we learned where the Star Wars Hotel would be located, and that the hotel would be a “fully immersive, multi-day event” for guests. But tonight we got a few more details!
First, the hotel doesn’t really seem to be a hotel…in any sense that we’ve experienced, anyway! The Star Wars: Galactic Starcruiser news confirms our suspicions that this will be more like a cruise ship, all-inclusive experience than your typical hotel stay!

The Disney Parks Blog calls this a “glamorous starship,” and notes that guests will board for a two-night stay (two nights hasn’t been noted as a max or min) where they “will interact with characters and become active participants in stories that unfold around them on their galactic journey.”
Murder mystery night meets star wars meets cruise ship? Yep, that’s what this sounds like to me! ;-D Above, you can see a new model of the starcruiser — called Halcyon — that may just be your home for

This will be mind bogglingly expensive but I might, just might, have to return to Disney World (after my first trip in May 2020), to stay here. Who needs money, right?!…
someone mentioned the Epcot anniversary as a date for the “hotel”
I can’t come to grips with the cost. 6600.00 is for 2 people for 2 nights. Only the super rich can afford it.
