The much beloved Fantasmic! show is coming back to Disneyland soon, but why watch it from a regular spot when you could take your nighttime experience to the NEXT LEVEL?
We’ve already gotten the showtimes for the return of Fantasmic!, and Disney is working on rearranging the Fantasmic! viewing area in Disneyland to improve traffic flow. But if you want to take your viewing experience and make it more special, there’s something you’ll want to check out.
Recently Disney announced important details about something that’ll be returning with Fantasmic! — Fantasmic! Dinner Packages! Fantasmic! dining packages have been offered in the past, so we’re excited to learn that this offering will be coming back.
Let’s break down what you need to know.
Hungry Bear will be offering an on-the-go package. With this package, you can get lunch or dinner from Hungry Bear. You’ll be able to reserve a meal pick-up time up to 60 days before your visit by going to the Fantasmic on-the-go package website.
Then, you’ll head to Hungry Bear during your designed pick-up window, choose an entree and side dish, plus a drink and dessert. Along with your meal, you’ll get a voucher to enter a reserved Fantasmic! viewing area for the 1st or 2nd show of the night.
This package will include a selection of Southern-inspired dishes, like BBQ pork ribs, grilled salmon salad, a barbecued half-chicken, bacon potato salad, seasonal vegetables, and dessert. There will also be a “plant-based Impossible sloppy joe sandwich with seasonal vegetables, fresh fruit, dessert and fountain beverage.”
The kids meal will include “barbecued ribs, mac and cheese, and a plant-based Impossible sloppy joe slider.”
Prices are $35 for adults and $25 for kids (ages 3-9), tax not included.
River Belle Terrace
River Belle Terrace will have 2 dining package options. First, there’s a Premium Package. This will include dinner and the ability to watch the first performance of Fantasmic! right from your table at the restaurant’s outdoor patio!
Guests will be able to choose from items on the regular menu or special items only on the Dining Package menu, like “loaded potato bites, petite New York steak and scallops, chicken and dumplings skillet, pan-roasted shrimp, chocolate rocky road cake or white chocolate raspberry trifle.”
Reservations can be made 60 days in advance on the Disneyland website, and the pricing is $75 per adult or $45 per child (ages 3-9). Tax and gratuity are not included in that price. The dinner for this option will start at 7:15PM.
River Belle Terrace will also offer a “standard” dining package. With this selection, you’ll get to eat a Southern-style lunch or dinner at River Belle Terrace and then get a voucher for your Fantasmic! seating. The voucher lets you see the show from a reserved viewing spot and you’ll be able to go to either of the 2 Fantasmic! performances that night.
Again, you’ll be able to pick from regular menu items or items that are exclusive to the Fantasmic! Dining Package. To get this “standard” package, you’ll request the Standard Package from the server when you eat at River Belle Terrace. It actually cannot be reserved in advance, and availability will be limited.
The price is $50 per adult and $30 per child (ages 3-9), lunch or dinner, tax and gratuity not included. Times start at 11AM for lunch and 4PM for dinner.
But that’s not all! In the future, it appears Blue Bayou Restaurant will also offer a Fantasmic! dining package. It is currently listed on Disneyland’s Fantasmic! dining package website and Disney indicates that guests should check back for opening date, pricing, and package details.
A few reminders:
- Disneyland admission is required, but not included in the prices for these packages
- A valid Disneyland park reservation is also required
- Same-day reservations for the River Belle Terrace premium and standard packages will be available on a limited basis (subject to availability)
If you’re hoping to get a reserved spot for Fantasmic!, this could be a great option. Be sure to check for availability and see what reservations you can snag.
