We are SO excited that The Rise of Skywalker is finally out, and we’re not alone in that excitement! Disney World has been debuting a BUNCH of Star Wars newness at Hollywood Studios in honor of the movie’s premiere, from an exciting new MagicBand inspired by the film to a new Rise of Skywalker scene being added to Star Tours. But, that’s not all – we spotted a new Star Wars treat over at Backlot Express that’s a real hero addition!
Say hello (or “Rrrrrrr-ghghghghgh!”) to the new Wookiee Oatmeal Cookie Sandwich! The delicious treat is inspired by our favorite Wookiee hero, Chewbacca.
Wookie Oatmeal Cookie Sandwich
The new Star Wars goodie is made with two oatmeal cookies, sandwiched together with a fluffy whoopie-pie cream filling. OMG y’all it’s a Wookiee Whoopie Cookie. Say THAT 3 times fast! 😉 All of that is topped off with a chocolate bar designed to look like Chewbacca’s bandolier!
Wookie Oatmeal Cookie Sandwich
We thought this Star Wars treat was super yummy! The filling is similar to a whoopie pie center, but a little more airy. It paired perfectly with the oatmeal cookies, which were nice and chewy and JUST the right amount of oatmeal flavor. The chocolate on top was also a SUPER cute addition to honor our fave fuzzy hero! Overall, it’s a great goodie to enjoy, and show off your Chewie love!
