Hey, friends, we’re back at the Most Magical Place on Earth, the Magic Kingdom, to see what’s been going on since our last visit.
We got a big announcement this week that Cinderella Castle is going to be getting a royal makeover soon. There is also a bunch of food, construction and merch updates to get through, so let’s get started!
Magic Kingdom Food Update
Move over Tutti Frutti Lollipops, there’s a new sour sheriff in town! If you like your sweets with a bit more kick, we found these new Sour Tutti Frutti Lollipops at the Confectionery for $3.59.
Tony’s got a bit of a menu change with the addition of Garlic Knots to the appetizers. We will keep you posted if they make any more changes to the menu!
We hope you got a chance to try the Arendelle Aqua Cone, because it has mysteriously disappeared off of the menu at Storybook Treats. We don’t know yet if this change is permanent or not, but we’ll let you know once we learn more.
Magic Kingdom Construction Update
More scrims are up in Tomorrowland by the famous purple wall next to Tomorrowland Terrace. Don’t worry, it doesn’t look the purple wall itself is seeing any work done, so your cute Isnta pics should be safe.
Splash Mountain is still currently down for its annual winter refurb. It looks like there’s still a bunch of scaffolding around the watermill. But you should be able to start having a zip-a-dee-doo-dah day again when the attraction reopens February 28th.
Magic Kingdom Merchandise Update

It’s showtime! You can take your fine feathered friends from the Enchanted Tiki Room with you on this hat for $27.99.

Disney and Pixar’s new movie, Onward, premieres March 6th and you can get ready for the movie with all the new merch that’s in at the Emporium right now. They’ve got a whole line of new shirts, toys, and plush characters so you can get hyped for the film.

If you’re looking for something new to keep your feet all warm and snugly, we spotted some new socks here as well. We’ve seen the Kuzco pair before at Pop Century, but it looks like he’s made his way to the Magic Kingdom.
What better way to lounge around then with a pair of Flash Slothmore socks from Zootopia? We’re sure he’s in no rush.
You can also get these sock featuring the fan-favorite Luxo Ball on them. These three pairs will all run you $14.99.
The detailed Fantasia Collection from Dooney and Bourke that was spotted at Hollywood Studios can now be found at Uptown Jewelers, including the stylish dress that looks very much like an art-deco masterpiece.
It’s a pirates life for us and we’re feeling more like a swashbuckler with this new Pirates of the Caribbean cap for $27.99.
If you like your caps a little shinier, you can rock the bling on this sequined Mickey cap for $27.99.
This adorable Pegasus patch was first spotted at Pop Century. Did he fly himself over here on those tiny wings? You can grab this for $9.99.
Tomorrowland Light and Power Co.
The land of tomorrow just got a few new fairytale MagicBand options. At the MagicBand D-Tech station at Tomorrowland Light and Power Company, you can now get MagicBands printed inspired by some of your favorite Disney princesses, like Tiana, Snow White, and Moana (if you have an animal sidekick and you wear a dress, you’re a princess according to Maui).
That about takes care of this look at what’s new in the Magic Kingdom. We’ll keep you guys updated with anything new we find at the parks or around the rest of Disney World, so come back real soon!
