There have been a couple of noteworthy updates on Disneyland.com about the upcoming Avengers Campus in Disney California Adventure.

A few weeks ago, an opening date of July 18, 2020 was announced for the new land. However, one of the two changes on the Disneyland Resort website now notes Avengers Campus as “Coming Soon.”

You’ll see the updated phrasing on the main page for Avengers Campus.

You’ll also see a similar update on the page for WEB SLINGERS: A Spider-Man Adventure, which was set as an opening-day attraction.

And while that is somewhat disheartening, it’s not entirely unexpected as the Disneyland Resort is currently closed until further notice in light of the current global situation.

Still, we did note that there are a couple of changes on the site. And the other that we noticed is that Avengers Campus now also has its official place on the Disney California Adventure map!

Currently, the updated map puts the spotlight simply on the Avengers Campus logo, marking the spot where recruitment will take place for “the next generation of Super Heroes.”

But once this new land is indeed up and running, you’ll take on the WEB SLINGERS: A Spider-Man Adventure attraction, eat at the Pym Test Kitchen and sip at the Pym Tasting Lab, gear up at WEB Suppliers and Campus Supply Pod, and more.

This is also where you’ll encounter heroes including Iron Man, Black Panther, Captain Marvel, and many more.
