We’ve seen a lot of changes happening at some Disney World restaurants that have recently reopened and now we’re starting to see some of the restaurants that are getting ready to reopen with the theme parks on July 11th and July 15th (see the full list here!).
There have been sweeping menu cuts, digital menus, and even new Mobile Dine Check-In feature to the My Disney Experience app — but today we spotted a HUGE change on Be Our Guest’s website!
As fans of the popular Beauty and the Beast-themed restaurant at Magic Kingdom’s New Fantasyland may recall, Be Our Guest began serving a quick-service breakfast and lunch menu during the daytime to help keep up with demand, while at night they switched over to a reservations-only table service restaurant.
But according to Be Our Guest’s webpage this afternoon, their quick-service breakfast menu is no longer available! It has been completely erased — and that’s not ALL…
…they’ve switched their lunch menu offerings over to a prix fixe menu too!
We’d had a hunch something like this might be in the works when we noticed only Be Our Guest’s table-service Cast Members were being called to return to work, but NOT their counter-service food and beverage crews. Now we might know why!
And for now, it looks like lunch at Be Our Guest Restaurant will cost you the same as dinner! Adult’s prix fixe meals cost $62, while kids’ meals are $37!
All of the offerings appear to be exactly the same between the lunch and dinner prix fixe menus for now, but we’ll let you know if anything changes! In the meantime, you can check out this great tip we’ve discovered for using Disney’s Park Pass system — click here to learn more!

Have they said when they’ll open up for reservations?
DFB Sarah says
Mike, no word on in-Park ADRs yet, but we’re anxiously awaiting info!

$62 for LUNCH?!?! OMG! NO THANK YOU.

Plus, you don’t even get to meet Beast. This decision will make me rethink if we want to go there now. That’s a lot of money for lunch that was originally planned in the budget as nicer over the counter. I really want to show my son the castle; but don’t know if I can afford that. Beast must have made this decision.
Lisa says
No matter what the price, the experience is worth it! If you are a fan of Beauty and the Beast, you will love every minute of it! Don’t forget to go to Gaston’s village too!
I can’t wait to go back again and you will too!!

Nope nope nope

We had postponed our 2020 trip due to park closure and had had a Be Our Guest lunch reservation. I looked at the menu last night and was SO disappointed by this change. It’s hard to justify $37 homemade Mac and Cheese even though we can “afford it.”
Ret says
We totally enjoyed the QS lunch here, and are so sorry that the “me people” ruined it, since they thought it was acceptable to make reservations for lunch, only to see the inside of the castle, and just ordered a cupcake.
The QS lunch offered several delicious sandwiches, but thanks to inconsiderate people, a delicious relaxing lunch in the Beast’s castle is no longer in our vacation plans.
To those rude people, thank you for ruining things for we guests who really wanted to have a nice lunch. We hope it was worth it.
Dey says
Couldn’t they at least make it a smaller, simpler offering for a set price of maybe $30 for adults for lunch?! What a disappointment!
