We’ve been taking in the sights of the newly reopened Disney World resort hotels this week!
And while earlier we had the chance to see a VERY pink Cinderella Castle at Magic Kingdom from our room at Disney’s Contemporary Resort, we’re checking in on another one of our favorite construction projects!
Today, we got to see how work was coming along on the presumptive pedestrian walkway which will be connecting Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort to Magic Kingdom!
We knew work had resumed on the project on June 12th, but haven’t had the opportunity to see it with our own eyes until today! It’s starting to look much more like a bridge! Now, we’re just ready to see it connected!!
We’ll keep monitoring the progress of this walkway and let you know if and when it’s safe to cross! Until then, check out ALL the restaurants we’re looking forward to enjoying when the theme parks reopen here!

As a DVC owner at VGF, this is the most appreciated project in years! The ability to avoid the less than pleasant Magic Kingdom closing transportation chaos with a pleasant evening walk back will make for a much more magical end of day experience. Plus it has the ability to alleviate a lot of volume from the monorail.

Thanks for sll your hard work providing everything we need to know.
As an older guy the more information to process the harder it gets.
Your site helps me bypass all the clutter and rumor surrounding the reopening.
Thanks.
