Whether you’re looking to drink a delicious Lapu Lapu or enjoy some chicken nugget sushi (YES! This is a REAL thing!), Kona Cafe at Disney’s Polynesian Village Resort has some seriously delicious options.
Well, now, you may be able to experience Kona Cafe and another Disney resort restaurant with a little less advance planning thanks to a special option on the My Disney Experience App.
Not too long ago, Disney released a new feature on the My Disney Experience app where you can see what restaurants are accepting walk-ups, and you can even join a walk-up list and see how long the wait is to eat at that spot.
Although we saw the feature disappear at one point, it’s back now and we found that two new restaurants have been added to the list: Grand Floridian Cafe at Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort & Spa, and Kona Cafe at Disney’s Polynesian Village Resort.
So, if you’re in the mood for some Quiche or some other delicious options from one of these spots, but you didn’t make a reservation in advance, you can now see if there’s any availability on their walk-in waitlist and check out one of these restaurants.
We’ll keep our eyes open for what other restaurants join the walk-up waitlist option on My Disney Experience and let you know!

Disney World can't just open a 5th park -- and here's why!
I was looking at the MDE wait times map. I saw a few 5 min wait times for potential walk up dining. When I tapped on it it asked me if I wanted to be added to the current wait list.
I’m not sure of anyone else noticed so I thought I’d share my discovery.
