Year after year, EPCOT’s International Food & Wine Festival gets bigger and better!
The latest example is a BRAND NEW Disney World sponsorship from one of Florida’s premiere insurance companies, signaling exciting developments for the fan-favorite fest!
Florida Blue, one of the state’s largest health insurers, has officially hopped on the EPCOT bandwagon by kicking off a multi-year sponsorship with Disney World!
As an Official Sponsor of Disney World, the company’s aiming to boost engagement for Food & Wine guests, both at the festival itself AND from the comfort (and safety) of their home!
Florida Blue is starting out their sponsorship by offering a Taste of EPCOT International Food & Wine Festival as a virtual experience for residents of select 55+ communities.
Rather than finagle through potential crowds at the park, this means users can watch digital culinary demos with Disney chefs, enjoy musical performances, and more!
In a statement, Florida Blue executive vice president Sarah Iselin said, “Florida Blue is dedicated to providing health insurance solutions to Floridians of all ages—from childhood to the golden years—just as Walt Disney World Resort provides multigenerational appeal through its variety of engaging experiences and entertainment options.”
Regarding that Disney magic, she adds, “By forming this new relationship with Disney, we are aligning two strong Florida brands to provide residents at every age with unique events and opportunities that can only be achieved with a touch of Disney magic.”
Although Food & Wine is winding down next month, Florida Blue and Disney are already thinking ahead for next year, with plans for more unique experiences at EPCOT! Details on these experiences are to be determined, but we’ll keep our Mickey ears peeled for ya!
We are excited to see what Florida Blue and Disney create together! We will continue to keep you updated with any news regarding this sponsorship.
