It’s November 27th, and you know what that means — the EPCOT Festival of the Holidays has officially started!Â
Now, Christmas is going to look a little different at EPCOT this year. Due to the global health crisis, Disney World has canceled its famous Candlelight Processional, and the EPCOT International Festival of the Holidays is undergoing some changes as well. You may not be able to meet Santa Claus or Anna and Elsa during this time, but Disney has gotten really creative with character cavalcades since reopening!
And EPCOT has some SPECIAL ones for the holiday season! Here’s who we spotted while rockin’ around EPCOT today!
Frozen Holiday Promenade
Anna and Elsa have been riding (and walking) around EPCOT since the park reopened, but now they’re in the holiday spirit! Our favorite Frozen sisters showed up in full Christmas cheer to greet the royal subjects of the World Showcase today.
As usual, poor Elsa had to walk around the World Showcase (we think she deserves her own carriage), but she seemed to be in good spirits while doing it! She’s wearing her ice spirit dress, which really fits the “Winter Wonderland” theme of the holiday season.
Anna’s carriage was all decked out in icy holiday decorations, which add a really great pop of color. She looked absolutely thrilled to have all these guests in EPCOT for the Festival of the Holidays!
We caught a video of the royals strolling through EPCOT, check it out below!

Santa Claus Promenade
Santa usually meets all of the good boys and girls in the American Adventure pavilion, but now he’s traveling around EPCOT in style!
His cavalcade starts with these festive dancers with are rocking some super fun Christmas ribbons! We love their winter outfits, even though they may be a tad toasty in the Florida sun.
Santa himself rides in on this MASSIVE carriage! It’s dressed to the nines in Christmas decorations, including toys for the good girls and boys. Santa’s wearing his classic red suit and waving merrily to guests!
Look how jolly he is! You can now see Santa in all four parks AND in Disney Springs.Â
Check out Santa and his cheerful dancing elves in the video we captured below!

Mickey and Friends Holiday World Tour
Mickey, Minnie, and their buds Goofy and Pluto can be seen in their festive finest!
Their car gets a holiday makeover, complete with garland, ornaments, and giant Christmas bows. Mickey and Minnie are dressed in wintery blue outfits with matching fur accents!
Goofy’s wearing a matching outfit with Mickey and Minnie, complete with a fur-lined vest and Santa Claus-style boots!
Pluto has blue and white earmuffs and a festive winter collar.Â
We’ve loved seeing the holiday changes to Mickey and friends’ cavalcades in the other parks, and now they’re spreading Christmas cheer around EPCOT as well!
If you’re missing Mickey and his pals, then you definitely need to watch this video of them waving to guests and riding in style!
