We’ve been enjoying all kinds of holiday treats and sweets around Walt Disney World’s theme parks and resorts!
We found these chocolatey delights over at The Market at Ale & Compass, which is a Counter Service spot in Disney’s Yacht Club Resort. For $6.49 you can grab a set of 4 Holiday Red and Green Oreo Bon Bons!
Oreo Bon Bons had been a BIG favorite of ours (and had developed quite the following among Disney fans) in the past. Previously, they were served at Cape May Cafe. They were removed from the Cape May Cafe menu, but later appeared at Beach Club Marketplace at Disney’s Beach Club Resort. What joy! We heard reports that these little beauties returned to Cape May Cafe back in 2018, but now you can easily grab them at the Yacht Club with their cute holiday look!
These treats do contain gluten, dairy, and soy though, so keep that in mind if you’ve got any allergies or food sensitivities.
The Oreo Bon Bons are made of Oreo cookie mousse on top of actual Oreos. These also have a little touch of chocolate ganache on top and some holiday sprinkles.
We think these bon bons are SUPER cute and we love that you get 4 in each pack. That makes these treats feel like a good value and also makes them easy to share (if you can bear to part with one of these delicious bon bons that is).
The bon bons are served cold from the fridge, and weren’t too sweet. But they did pack a BIG Oreo flavor. We really loved these! If we had to change anything, we’d maybe recommend removing the ganache. It was our least favorite part of the treat, and we just didn’t feel like it was necessary in terms of flavor. But, it did make a cute topper.
If you LOVE Oreos, we have a feeling this treat is going to be something you’ll really enjoy. If chocolate and Oreos just aren’t your thing, then you can definitely check out some of the other treats available all throughout the holiday season around Disney World. Perhaps some eggnog fudge?
