Greetings from EPCOT, where everywhere you turn right now…
… you’ll find a work of ART! The 2021 EPCOT Festival of the Arts is one week old today, so we’re exploring all the sights (and tastes!) of EPCOT’s first Festival of the year. But we’ve also got some new eats, drinks, and fun merchandise finds, so let’s hop right in!
And let’s start with FOOD…
EPCOT Food Updates
Yorkshire County Fish Shop
It’s definitely comfort food season with the cooler temps, and we were glad to see this dish as an option at the fish-and-chips stop once more.
Joy of Tea and House of Good Fortune
This unique sip features Black Tea infused with liquefied White Rabbit Creamy Candy.
A stop by the House of Good Fortune, also in the China pavilion, revealed a new-to-us packaged treat.
Check out the cute Custard Mochi!
We found it available in Kiwi and Lemon.
Joffrey’s Coffee and Tea Kiosk
And while we’re busy enjoying the Festival of the Arts, we did happen to spot one last offering from the 2020 EPCOT Festival of the Holidays at the Joffrey’s Coffee and Tea kiosk between the Canada and United Kingdom pavilions.
The Caramel Tinsel Donuts (YEP! The ones topped with crumbled TWIX!) are still available here… for now.
Grab one while you can!
EPCOT Festival of the Arts Updates
Pop Eats! Food Studio
The Pop Eats! Food Studio — which is one of several Food Studios celebrating the Culinary Arts at this year’s Festival of the Arts — has seen a little change-up in serving style for one of its dishes.
The Grilled Cheese dishes are currently accompanied by Tomato Soup served up in paper cups, as opposed to the signature Pop Eats! Tomato Soup can.
Now, the Tomato Soup Can Bloody Mary is still being served up in the themed tins.
No official word yet on if the Soup will be served in the cans again sometime moving forward, but we’ll keep an eye out!
Germany Train Display Celebrates the Festival
And EPCOT’s tiniest residents are officially celebrating the Festival of the Arts as well, now that the Festival banners are posted in the Germany pavilion’s charming miniature village!
It’s so fun to see how even the train display changes in EPCOT for the seasons.
Fun Festival Photo Ops
And don’t forget… YOU can transform into Figment with this fun Future World photo op!
While you can most certainly pose in front of the “two tiny wings” and “horns of a steer” in tribute to our purple pigmented pal, PhotoPass photographers can take a Magic Shot for you in this area, too, adding some extra pixie dust to your picture.
EPCOT Construction Updates
EPCOT’s Italy Pavilion
Over in the Italy pavilion, you can now spot a structure popping up from behind the construction walls.
It’s here where we should see a new Gelateria serving guests in the future!
For now, though, we can take part in a little Butterfly Wings photo op in front of it while we wait. 🙂
EPCOT Merchandise Updates
We’ve got some fun finds from Mouse Gear, starting with this new HAPPY Castle t-shirt!
This one’s $24.99.
And it’s just so much fun to see the truly adorable Chip Teacup and Spoon Set!
Our little friend from Beauty and the Beast has been, from what we understand, a popular pal around these parts!
Chip is $19.99, and you can find him on shopDisney, too.
In Mitsukoshi — the popular shop in the Japan pavilion — we found Sonic The Hedgehog Face Covers.
These are $16.95 with adjustable straps.
And, while we’re here, it’s always cool to see the Daruma Dolls on display, isn’t it?
You can stop by and read about the story of these dolls while picking up a Daruma of your own.
WonderGround Gallery Tent
There is oodles of artwork all around EPCOT right now thanks to Festival Galleries featuring beautiful pieces that you can take home and enjoy long after the Festival.
We wanted to point out a print sale we noticed at the WonderGround Gallery Tent.
You’ll notice the sign reads that Deluxe Prints are $30.00 each when you buy TWO (typically $39.99 each).
We also spent a little time checking out some of the phone cases while we there, for a little art-on-the-go! Options include Baby Yoda and Tiana.
Kronk and Pocahontas are in the mix, too.
And other featured pals include Sulley and Stitch.
And finally, in France, it’s time to welcome back the portraits and parasols!
We noticed their return when the Festival of the Arts kicked off just last week.
Remember, this year’s EPCOT Festival of the Arts runs through February 22nd, so there is still lots of time to enjoy “Artful Epcot!” And while you’re making your plans, be sure to check out our DFB Best of the Fest picks for what you just can’t miss while you’re there!
