We’re taking you with us to Magic Kingdom!
We’ve got a few quick updates that you may want to know about if you’re headed to the park anytime soon. Let’s get started!
Magic Kingdom Construction Updates
Castle Moat
While we were hangin’ around Cinderella Castle yesterday, we noticed the water levels in the moat were lower than usual. Now, Disney just refilled the moat last August, but it looks like it’s getting drained AGAIN!
You can see that the bank is more exposed than it was before.
Disney’s busy getting the parks all ready for its 50th anniversary this year, so maybe this area just needs a little spiffying up! We’ll let you know as we learn more.

Magic Kingdom Merchandise Updates
We’ve got a new Dooney and Bourke collection on the way! These bags feature our favorite characters on colorful Skyliner gondolas. We spotted a tote…
…and a satchel!
We found them on display in Uptown Jewelers, but they will go on sale on February 22nd.
Star Traders
In Star Traders, we found the new Newspaper Collection. These outfits tell the story of Mickey and friends in the Mouse Times.
We’ve previously seen this collection in World of Disney at Disney Springs, but now they’re in Magic Kingdom, too! We’ll keep an eye out for them anywhere else in the parks.

How is any of this related to the 50th anniversary? This is terrible journalism. I used to look to DFB for important information about the parks, but things have been getting really sloppy lately.
