Just a few days ago, we spotted a NEW shoe trend in Disney World — the Disney x Native shoes. They’re also available online now too.

Native Disney shoes
These shoes are similar to Crocs in terms of their material, but more similar to Keds in terms of their actual design. Immediately, we wondered, will Disney Crocs become old news? Are there enough #TeamCrocs fans out there to keep them alive, or will #TeamNative take over? Well, today we stumbled upon a serious SHOE STANDOFF happening. You’ll see what we mean. 😉
As we walked around Disney’s Animal Kingdom, we encountered the shoe showdown of the year, nay the CENTURY. Not only were the shoes forced to live in the same park, they were placed just FEET away from one another (pun very much intended).

SHOE SHOWDOWN!
We could practically hear them yelling at each other from across the way. Imagine. All day. Staring at each other. The battle of the plastic shoes.
Disney Crocs: Listen up kid. This town ain’t big enough for the two of us. I’ve been here since before you were even BORN. I’ve even got Mickey-shaped holes.

Crocs
Crocs: There are SO MANY of me! I come covered in designs featuring the beloved Haunted Mansion, Disney snacks, and I’ve even gone super retro and cool. Umm…do I even need to mention PLATFORMS? They’re cool. Look it up. I’ve got designs for kids and adults. I can Tik the Toks and tweet like no other bird can. I may not always be the most stylish shoe in the bunch, but people think I’m super comfortable and especially great in wet weather! You could NEVER. Don’t you “OK, boomer” me, young blood!

Crocs
Disney x Native Shoes: OK, boomer (hehe). You’re old stuff Crocs. I’m the new kid on the block and I’m taking over. Step. Aside. First of all, I’m recyclable, lightweight and you know what people LOVE? Saving the earth. Do you do that? Nah, but I DO! It’s called going green. LOOK IT UP.

Native Shoes and Crocs
Disney x Native Shoes: Also, have you SEEN how parents love me?? I’m comfy, versatile, waterproof. I am perfection. AND, some might even find me to be more stylish in terms of my overall design (SHOTS FIRED). AND I’m covered in designs featuring Mickey and Minnie Mouse — the OGs. You’re toast Crocs. I’m the new kicks in town.

Native Shoes
Oh man. That got heated. There’s room in this town for both of ya!

Shoe Showdown
And yes, we just gave imaginary voices to Disney shoes. And you just read about it. You’re welcome. But in all seriousness (haha, J/K. We’re talking about fighting shoes. Good luck taking us seriously here!) look at this video. TRY to not feel heartbroken for Crocs just blowin’ in the wind while the Natives are over there with guests buying them up like they’re the new hotness.
Which would you choose?! Crocs or the Disney x Native shoes? pic.twitter.com/ghAUv8wafX

Native Shoes and Crocs
Just for reference, some of the Crocs we spotted on shopDisney recently were priced at $49.99 or $54.99, while the kids’ shoe we saw was priced at $39.99. Meanwhile, adult Native Disney shoes are $54.99, with kid sizes priced at $44.99.
Which shoe will emerge victorious? Is there room for both shoes to survive together? It truly is a shoe standoff.

Crocs and Native Shoes
Are you #TeamCrocs or #TeamNative? Or #TeamOtherShoe? 😂 Settle this shoe showdown in the comments!

Both shoes are made in China and Vietnam.
Team Crocs all the way! Although I’ve not tried the Native shoes. From the looks of them the sole resembles that of a converse style with no arch. And for me that’s a must.
I’m team croc!!! I love crocs and no matter how cute the Native ones are, comfort is what’s really important!!!!
Team Crocs forever! Need the arch!
Ok ignoring the fact you tried to be cool with a long dead meme, the natives sound like a rash waiting to happen
I don’t wear crocks. Never liked them. Kids and grandkids love them. Native shoes are super cute. Someone who actually wore them needs to chime in.
Bonnie, one of our reporters wore them specifically to share how they worked. You can read her thoughts here.
I love Crocs, wear them all the time in hot weather.
