With the state of the world, we sometimes don’t even know what year we’re living in…and apparently the feeling is mutual for Disney World.

These are strange times indeed, and nowhere is this more clearly articulated than the pressed penny machine in EPCOT’s Norway Pavilion.
One of the most under-the-radar (and most affordable!) souvenir options in Disney World are the pressed penny machines scattered around the parks, including one at The Fjording in EPCOT, where guests can pay $1 to see a penny pressed and molded with unique patterns!

Last year, one of those EPCOT patterns was of Spaceship Earth over the year “2020,” and now that it’s 2021, we can safely assume that penny pattern has been changed to “2021.” Or does it?!
